



DAY 1 Wednesday 17 April, 2024 Anglesea
The tour group will meet at Melbourne’s Spencer Street Station at
10.00am to join our private tour coach prior to departure for our first
stop, Geelong. On arrival in Geelong we will enjoy a tour of the city and
a leisurely stop for lunch and visits to the Geelong Art Gallery and the
National Trust’s The Heights heritage house. We then travel on to Torquay
for a brief seaside stop and then through famous Bells Beach to Anglesea
for an overnight stop. The tour group will enjoy a welcome dinner.
DAY 2 Thursday 18 April, 2024 Warrnambool
After breakfast we travel along the Great Ocean Road for a morning
stop in the resort town of Lorne. We then continue to Apollo Bay and
Port Campbell with stops to view the famous Twelve Apostles and the
London Arch. We continue on through the Great Otway National Park
and the Beech Forest to Warrnambool, our base for the next two nights.
DAY 3 Friday 19 April, 2024 Warrnambool
After breakfast we visit the Flagstaff Hill Maritime Village and then drive
to nearby historic Port Fairy – there will be time to explore and lunch will
be at leisure. The group will return to Warrnambool via the small town of
Koroit, Tower Hill and Tower Hill Lake. The rest of the day will be at leisure.
DAY 4 Saturday 20 April, 2024 Halls Gap
After breakfast we drive to Halls Gap, our base for a night in the centre of
the impressive Victorian Grampians. A visit will be made to Narrapumelap,
a historic western district house. After lunch the tour group will explore
the main tourist sites and enjoy some of the walking trails.
DAY 5 Sunday 21 April, 2024 Ballarat
After breakfast, we drive to Ararat to have a quick look at this important
rural town before catching the morning train to Ballarat, an important
rural city founded on a rich gold deposit. On arrival at there will be time
for lunch followed by a visit to Sovereign Hill where we will have free
time to explore this interesting historic park.
DAY 6 Monday 22 April, 2024 Ballarat
After breakfast we tour the city and enjoy a visit to Ballarat’s notable
art gallery. Lunch will be at leisure and there will be a visit to Ballarat’s
famous Botanical Gardens. There will be free time to explore the city.
DAY 7 Tuesday 23 April, 2024 Horsham
This morning we depart by train from Ballarat at approximately 10:45am
for Maryborough, arriving at approximately 11.45am. We will enjoy lunch
at leisure in Maryborough before joining our coach for the short drive to
Horsham, capital of the Victorian Wimmera. We will tour the town and visit
the Horsham Botanical Gardens and the Horsham Regional Art Gallery.
DAY 8 Wednesday 24 April, 2024 Swan Hill
After breakfast we join our tour coach for a drive north through a number
of small towns that have become famous for their painted wheat silos.
We will first of all view painted silos in Rupanyup, Minyup, Sheep Hills
and more small towns as we head toward Swan Hill on the Murray River.
Breaks will be made in Warracknabeal and Birchip. Upon arrival we visit
the famous Pioneer Settlement in Swan Hill.
DAY 9 Thursday 25 April, 2024 Bendigo
We will enjoy a morning tour of Swan Hill. After lunch at leisure we travel
to the Swan Hill railway station to join the afternoon train to Bendigo,
arriving at approximately 4:00pm. On arrival in Bendigo, another
important rural city founded on gold, we will be met and transferred
to our hotel.
DAY 10 Friday 26 April, 2024 Echuca
We will enjoy a morning tour of the sights of Bendigo city that will
include a visit to the Central Deborah Gold Mine, the Bendigo Botanic
Gardens and a ride on a Bendigo heritage tram. At 5:00pm we will catch
the train to Echuca, and arrive in the historic port city of Echuca at
approximately 6:30pm.
DAY 11 Saturday 27 April, 2024 Echuca
A full day to explore Echuca. We will enjoy time at the historic Port of
Echuca, a visit to the gin distillery and lunch as we cruise the river on
a paddle wheel steamer on the Murray River. There will be free time to
explore the town.
DAY 12 Sunday 28 April, 2024 Corowa
After breakfast we travel to Yarrawonga/Mulwala for a brief stop and
then onto historic Corowa, in New South Wales, the cradle of Australia’s
federation. We cross the Murray River to Wahgunyah/Rutherglen in
Victoria for a delightful progressive lunch in the vineyards close to the
banks of the mighty river.
DAY 13 Monday 29 April, 2024 Return to Melbourne
After breakfast we visit the Corowa History Museum and the Whisky
Factory for morning tea before travelling south to Wangaratta to join the
14.02pm train to Melbourne. We arrive at 16.40pm and the tour concludes.

Touring can involve a considerable amount of walking and stair climbing in the places visited and it is important that all tour participants have a level of physical fitness that allows them to take part in this activity without the need of assistance from others.

TOUR COSTS:
The tour costs are based on general transport, entry, and
accommodation costs. Travelrite reserves the right to alter the costs if any
of these factors change, giving any passenger that has booked the right
to withdraw with full refund of monies paid or modify arrangements. No
alterations to price will be made within 60 days of departure from Australia.
DEPOSIT AND PAYMENT:
A deposit of $500 per passenger is required
at the time of booking. Full payment will be required 60 days before
departure. Cancellation over 60 days before departure will result in a
loss of deposit. Cancellation 60 days and under before tour departs will
result in a loss of all monies paid. Payment may be made by direct deposit,
cheque or cash – a 1.5 percent administration fee will be charged on
payments made by credit cards.
TRAVEL INSURANCE:
Travel insurance is recommended to cover the costs
of cancellation fees due to illness, death in family, etc.
MINIMUM TOUR NUMBERS AND CONDITIONS:
The tour has been priced
on the basis of a minimum number of passengers having booked 60 days
prior to departure. Travelrite reserves the right to cancel the tour, giving
a full refund of all monies paid or offer arrangements to proceed with the
tour at a modified cost.
TOUR ORGANISATION:
Travelrite reserves the right to change advertised
entrances if necessary for the smooth operation of the tour..
REFUNDS:
The tour is based on arrangements that do not allow for any
refunds in respect to sightseeing, accommodation, meals, airfare or other
services not utilized after the tour has commenced.
BAGGAGE:
Due to coach restrictions, tour members can only bring one
large suitcase.
TOUR PARTICIPATION:
Children under 5 years of age are ineligible on coach & cruise tours. Children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Passengers with disabilities are welcome on Travelrite & Cruise Offers tours provided they are accompanied by a companion capable of providing all necessary assistance, and do not require special assistance from Travelrite & Cruise Offers personnel. Travelrite and Cruise Offers reserves the right to refuse to carry anyone if it is felt the individual cannot cope with the requirements of coach & cruise tour travel and who may require services and facilities that Travelrite & Cruise Offers cannot guarantee will be available. You agree to not hold the Travelrite & Cruise Offers responsible for any decision made by any of them or any service provider to refuse to carry you, provide any facilities or accommodation to you or to provide any service to you.

078) is the tour organizer. Travelrite acts only as an agent in the making
of arrangements for hotels, transportation, restaurants or any other
service and does not assume any liability whatsoever for any injury,
damage, death, loss, accident or delay to person or property due to an
act of negligence or a default of any hotel, carrier restaurant company
or person rendering any services included in the tour, or by act of God.
Further no responsibilities are accepted for any damage or delay due to
sickness, pilferage, labour disputes, machinery break-down, quarantine,
government restraints, weather, terrorism or other causes beyond
their control. No responsibility is accepted for any additional expense,
omission, delays, re-routing or acts of any government authority. The
passage contract between the carriers concerned, when issued, shall
constitute the sole contract between the carriers and the purchasers of
this tour and/or the passengers. The right is reserved to withdraw any
tour and/or make such changes in the tour as may be found desirable or
necessary for the convenience of the parties and the proper carrying out
of the tour. This contract shall be construed in accordance of the laws of
the State of Victoria, Australia and any legal action must be undertaken
in the State of Victoria.
DELAYS AND UNFORESEEN EVENTS:
You engage Travelrite International
to book this tour on your behalf and you acknowledge that Travelrite
International acts as your agent for the purpose of making contracts
between you and the various providers of accommodation, transportation
and other services that comprise the tour. Travelrite International may
without reference to you provide or make available to you, or may as
your agent engage any third party to provide or make available to you,
any good or service which Travelrite International reasonably believes is
necessary for your benefit to maintain the tour itinerary, repatriate you
or otherwise accommodate, transport or sustain you in circumstances in
which the tour itinerary fails wholly or partly for any reason. You appoint Travelrite International your attorney for this purpose. You agree to pay
Travelrite International any cost thereof and you indemnify Travelrite
International in respect of any cost it incurs in this regard. Travelrite
advises you to obtain travel insurance generally including in respect of
the risk that any such good or service may become required.
