DAY 2 Saturday 4 July 2026 Stockholm
This morning, enjoy a full day tour of Stockholm while travelling on the city's iconic trams. Known as the 'Venice of the North' due to its many waterways, you will visit City Hall, the Gamla Stan Old Town and cruise the city's islands on the SS Drottningholm steamship to see Drottningholm Palace - the residence of the Swedish royal family. Enjoy free time for lunch, take a ride on Stockholm's metro to see their art gallery like metro stations and ride a privately chartered vintage restaurant tram in the late afternoon. Free evening. DAY 3 Sunday 5 July 2026 Uppsala
After breakfast, you'll hop on board the Stockholm to Taxinge-Näsby train and enjoy a ride on the historic Museijärnvägen steam train. Arriving in Marielund, you'll tour the historic train station and explore the 14th century Gripsholm Castle with its round towers, spires, drawbridge and creaky wooden halls. Enjoy free time for lunch, and travel north and journey on the diesel hauled Lennakatten narrow-gauge heritage railway along one of Sweden's most beautiful rail routes, through forested woodland to the historical student town of Uppsala. DAY 4 Monday 6 July 2026 Gävle
The fourth-largest city in Sweden, Uppsala dates back to the 3rd century and is one of the country's most dynamic centres, thanks in part to a student population nudging 40,000 of the town's 200,000 residents. Tour the city, visiting the Gamma Uppsala burial grounds, the Gothic Domkyrka Cathedral and the old town. Travel by train to Gävle and tour the Swedish Railway Museum to see old locomotives and carriages, including the 1859 hunting coach belonging to King Karl XV. DAY 5 Tuesday 7 July 2026 Östersund
Leaving early, you'll take a road trip through the Dalarna region for an opportunity to explore some of Sweden's most beloved traditions and cultural icons, as well as the striking scenery around Lake Siljan. Your first stop on the Swedish Lakes will be at the picture-perfect village of Tällberg where you'll have time to explore, before visiting Rättvik which is a centre for local music, folk dance and handicraft traditions. Stop at Nusnäs, to see hand-painted wooden Dala horses being made and board the Inlandsbanan retro diesel railcar at Mora and travel via scenic forests, rivers and lakes to Östersund. DAY 6 Wednesday 8 July 2026 Arvidsjaur
This morning, you will continue your unforgettable voyage into the heart and soul of Sweden travelling the northern route on the Inlandsbanan train through large birch forests, plains and moors, crossing many large rivers and through very sparsely populated areas where the chances are high that you will see reindeers and moose outside your window! Can you purchase food on the train while you travel through this spectacular scenery. Arrive in the town of Arvidsjaur in the late afternoon where you can unwind by the hotel's lakeside restaurant. DAY 7 Thursday 9 July 2026 Jokkmokk
This morning, you will explore the town of Arvidsjaur and enjoy some free time. On the shores of Lake Boliden, this small town has a neatly laid out Sámi village, a pristine old timber church, and several museums. Today, you will try some of the local cuisine such as cured reindeer fillet, moose roast beef, and the very tasty Kaffeost (coffee cheese) at lunch. In the late afternoon, the train will take you through the magnificent Lapland Wilderness with wild rivers and mountain tops covered in snow nearly the whole year round to Jokkmokk, an important town for the Sámi people. DAY 8 Friday 10 July 2026 Narvik
Jokkmokk is home to Sweden's largest winter festival, the Jokkmokk Winter Market where people from the Lapland region meet socialize and do business with each other. This morning, you'll wander the town's traditional buildings, tour the Ice Hotel in Jukkasjärvi and marvel at the wooden churches in Kiruna. Continue your drive past the world's largest underground iron ore mine, along the gorgeous stretch of road past mountains and the southern shore of Torneträsk, Sweden's largest alpine lake, past the forests of the Abisko National Park and cross the border into Norway before arriving in Narvik. DAY 9 Saturday 11 July 2026 Narvik
Today we'll visit the Ofoten Museum, located in the 123-year-old NSB railway administration building. Learn about the construction of the Ofotbanen railway and operation, the iron ore's long journey from Kiruna to Narvik's ice-free harbour and further out into the world, and the development of Narvik city. The museum also hosts an exhibition on the electrification of the Ofotbanen railway. Later, you'll visit the War Museum and take a cable car to Narvikfjellet Mountain to enjoy spectacular views. DAY 10 Sunday 12 July 2026 Hurtigruten Cruise / Svolvær
This morning, you'll drive to Sortland to board a Hurtigruten ship to cruise the stunning Lofoten Islands, via the Troll Fjord to Svolvær. You'll be gobsmacked by the stunning scenery and understand why this is considered the most beautiful of all the Hurtigruten Norwegian cruises. The mountain walls at Troll Fjord will look so close, you'll think you can reach out and touch them! The ship then sails for Stamsund, eventually passing the giant granite cliffs of the Lofoten Wall. DAY 11 Monday 13 July 2026 Hurtigruten Cruise / Rørvik
Awake to majestic scenery when the ship calls at Ørnes at 7am and cross over the Arctic Circle just after breakfast. Commemorate the moment with a tradition of tasting a spoonful of good ol' Norwegian cod liver oil! Sail onto Sandnessjøen, the gateway to the magnificent Helgeland Coast, admire the stunning landscape of the Seven Sisters Mountain range and reach Brønnøysund. Here, you'll explore the bustling marina and their stone Neo-Gothic style church. Later, cruise to the cosy fishing port of Rørvik in the picturesque Vikna archipelago. DAY 12 Tuesday 14 July 2026 Trondheim
After a night of cruising along the coast, our ship arrives in Trondheim at 6am in the morning. On arrival, you'll transfer to your hotel for check in. Later, you'll visit Gothic Nidaros Cathedral and tour the photogenic historic old town with its colourful wooden warehouses, bridges and waterways. Later, you'll ride on Norway's first electric railway on the Thamshavnbanen Line to Orkanger. This heritage railway started in 1908 and is the world's oldest railway running on alternating current. DAY 13 Wednesday 15 July 2026 Trondheim
This morning we'll travel on the magical Nordland Railway which snakes around lakes and mountains to Dombås. Change trains, and travel on the Rauma Railway to Åndalsnes where you'll visit the Train Chapel - the only one in Norway! Later, drive along the glorious coastal road to the archipelago city of Alesund. Following a catastrophic fire in 1904 that destroyed the city, Ålesund was rebuilt in an art nouveau style that was popular in Europe at the time. Today, the town is one of the prettiest in Norway! This morning you'll tour Ålesund - an island city with its art nouveau flair, fairytale architecture and winding waterways. You'll stroll past towers, spires, turrets and pastel hues, their reflections shimmering in the entwining waters. Set out over a hook-shaped peninsula, the town is now the home base for Norway's largest cod-fishing fleet, and it's an attractive, lively town and unsurprisingly has some superb seafood to try. DAY 15 Friday 17 July 2026 Bergen
As you travel south, a web of deep fjords bites into the coastline, creating a myriad of islets and inlets along the coastline, and etching out some truly majestic scenery. This morning, you'll drive along the scenic mountain road to the town of Geiranger to board a cruiseship to travel along the famous Geirangerfjord to Hellesylt. The fjord is one of Norway's most visited tourist sites and is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Later, drive along yet more scenic fjords to the coastal town of Måløy where you'll get the fast ferry Bergen through more fjords and along the scenic coast. Overnight: Zander K Hotel, Bergen (B)

This morning we'll take the high-speed train to the charming fjord village of Flåm on Aurlandsfjord to ride one of the most scenic and dramatic train journeys in the world - the Flåm Railway. As one of the world's steepest stretches of train line, the train cuts through deep ravines, rivers, waterfalls, mountains and farms on its roundtrip from Flåm to Myrdal. This morning you'll travel on the historic D/S steamship sailing up the harbour and along the estuary, to Garnes where you unwind at Café Stationen, a distinctive train-inspired café before boarding the Voss Railway. This vintage steam train is complete with a teak dining car, in which we'll enjoy lunch while it runs along the original isolated Bergen railway. Return to Bergen and ride the Fløibanen funicular for majestic views of the city and waterways. This morning, you'll take the spectacular Bergensbanen train, travelling 500kms to Oslo. It is considered to be one of the most beautiful train journeys in the world, crossing breathtaking landscapes and mountain plateaus down to Oslo. It's the highest mainline railway line in Northern Europe taking around 7 hours to pass through 180 tunnels, stopping 22 times en route to the nation's capital. Arrive in Oslo and transfer to your hotel. Surrounded by mountains and sea, this compact, cultured, quirky and colourful city has plenty of interesting sights to offer. Today, you will tour the city seeing the Oslo Opera House, Karl Johan's Gate, the Royal Palace and look at frescoes depicting Scandinavian history on the walls of red-brick Oslo City Hall. Visit the monumental Holmenkollbakken Ski jump, which looks more like a work of art than a sports venue, to soak in the 360-degree views of the city, with its fjords and forests. Touring can involve a considerable amount of walking and stair climbing in the places visited and it is important that all tour participants have a level of physical fitness that allows them to take part in this activity without the need of assistance from others.

TOUR COSTS:
The tours costs are based on transport, accommodation costs and entrance costs at 3 August 2025. Travelrite reserves the right to alter the costs if any of these factors change, giving any passenger that has booked the right to withdraw with full refund of monies paid or modify arrangements. No alterations to costings will be made within 90 days of departure.
DEPOSITS AND PAYMENTS:
A non-refundable deposit of $1,200 per passenger is required at the time of booking. Full payment will be required 90 days before departure. A 1.5% administration charge will be added to payment by Visa, Mastercard and America Express.
CANCELLATIONS:
Cancellations within 90 days prior to departure will result in the loss of all monies paid. Cancellations outside of 90 days prior to departure will result in the loss of the deposit paid per person. Travel insurance is recommended to cover the costs of cancellation fees due to illness, death in family, etc.
CHANGES TO THE TOUR ITINERARY:
Travelrite International reserves the right to make changes to the tour itinerary to fit in with operational requirements. Any changes to the itinerary will be replaced with similar arrangements with an equal or greater value.
MINIMUM TOUR NUMBERS:
The tour has been costed on the basis of a minimum number of passengers having booked 90 days prior to departure. Travelrite reserves the right to cancel the tour, giving a full refund of all monies paid or offer arrangements to proceed with the tour at a modified cost if the minimum number is not achieved.
REFUNDS:
The tour is based on arrangements which do not allow for any refunds in respect to sightseeing, accommodation, meals or other services not utilised after the tour has commenced.
BAGGAGE:
All passengers qualify for 1 piece free baggage allowance.
RESPONSIBILITY:
Travelrite International Pty Ltd. is the tour organiser. Travelrite International acts only as agents in making of arrangements with carriers, hoteliers and others for the tour. As a result, we cannot accept liability for any act or omission whatsoever, whether negligent or otherwise of those carriers, hoteliers or other persons providing services in connection with the tour over whom we have no direct or exclusive control. We do not accept responsibility for any injury, damage, loss, delay, change of schedule or any other events which are beyond our direct control, such as, but not limited to, war, flood, fire, civil disturbance, acts of God, acts of government, or any other authorities, terrorism, accidents to or failure of machinery or equipment, or industrial action. The passage contract in use by the carriers concerned, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between the transportation companies or firms and the purchasers of these tours and the passengers. Baggage is at own risk throughout the tour. The contract shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Victoria and any legal action must be undertaken in the State of Victoria.
DELAYS AND UNFORESEEN EVENTS:
You engage Travelrite International to book this tour on your behalf and you acknowledge that Travelrite International acts as your agent for the purpose of making contracts between you and the various providers of accommodation, transporta tion and other services that comprise the tour. Travelrite International may without reference to you provide or make available to you, or may as your agent engage any third party to provide or make available to you, any good or service which Travelrite International reasonably believes is necessary for your benefit to maintain the tour itinerary, repatriate you or otherwise accommodate, transport or sustain you in circumstances in which the tour itinerary fails wholly or partly for any reason. You appoint Travelrite International your attorney for this purpose. You agree to pay Travelrite International any cost thereof and you indemnify Travelrite International in respect of any cost it incurs in this regard. Travelrite International advises you to obtain travel insurance generally including In respect of the risk that any such good or service may become required.
