During the day casual clothing is typical, although shorts and swimwear are not permitted in the formal restaurants. There are some nights at sea classified as formal for dress purposes. Nights in port are classified as informal. During the evening on formal nights, a dinner suit or dark suit for gentlemen and eveningwear for ladies is required for the main restaurants. Smart casual attire is required in the public lounges and restaurants.

Venice, Italy This afternoon we arrive into Venice. After clearing customs, we will be transferred to our hotel. Built on 117 islands, Venice was once the head of the Mediterranean empire. We will have two nights here before the cruise to enjoy the canals, renaissance palazzos and of course, the fabulous food and wine from the Veneto region. The rest of the day will be free for individual exploration.
DAY 3 Sunday, 5 July 2026
Venice Today we will have a sightseeing tour of this beautiful city. We visit St Mark's Square, see the Grand Canal, St Mark's Cathedral, the Doge's Palace and the Bridge of Sighs. We will wind our way through the narrow alleyways to the market square of the Rialto. There will be free time in the afternoon to explore the meandering laneways and bridges of this magical city. Perhaps try an espresso or gelato and take in the sights and sounds of Venice. This evening we have an included welcome dinner to meet Tony and the group members.

Embark Queen Victoria This morning we travel to Trieste. Trieste has a rich historical and cultural background that played a strong role for the economy of the Hapsburg Empire and later the Austro-Hungarian monarchy. On our sightseeing tour we see some beautiful Catholic and Orthodox churches and one of the most beautiful synagogues in Middle Europe, built in a Syrian style. We will see palaces of remarkable architectural value in Neo-Classical style and Italy's largest square overlooking the sea, Piazza Unità d'Italia. Early afternoon we board Queen Victoria. Make sure that you are up on deck as the Queen Victoria sails out of Trieste and we commence our Mediterranean Exploration cruise.

Zadar, Croatia Today we will visit Krka National Park. The national park is a vast and primarily unaltered area of exceptional natural value, including one or more preserved or insignificantly altered ecosystems. The top attraction of the Park is its magnificent waterfalls, including the famous Skradinski Buk falls, which are one of Croatia's most famous sights. Other highlights include the small island of Visovac and Roski Slap waterfall. After lunch, we enjoy a boat trip through the park to Skradin.

Dubrovnik, Croatia This morning we call in to the historic city of Dubrovnik. Known as The Jewel of the Adriatic, the city is situated on a promontory surrounded by the beautiful waters of the Adriatic Sea. It is renowned for the beauty of its monuments, its magnificent city walls and welcoming atmosphere. It was founded by fugitives from the Roman city of Epidaurum during the seventh century. We have a comprehensive tour of Dubrovnik and see the impressive Fort of St John and the Sponza Palace, which was built in the 14th century as the Mint for the city.

Valletta, Malta The capital of Malta, Valletta was founded by the Knights of St John in 1566. Its purpose was to strengthen the Order's position on the island, following the siege of Malta by the Turks in 1565. The sightseeing tour includes visits to St Johns Co- Cathedral and the magnificent Palace of the Grand Masters. We also visit Mdina, Malta's ancient capital and a medieval walled town situated on a hill in the centre of the island. The afternoon is free to visit Valletta's wonderful museums or palaces.

Naples/Sorrento We arrive into Naples this morning. We have a morning tour of the beautiful resort town of Sorrento with its spectacular views of the Bay of Naples. We then visit the ancient, perfectly preserved ruins of Pompeii, a wealthy settlement of the Roman Empire, destroyed by the eruption of Vesuvius in 79AD. We will have a tour of the ruins with a local guide to see the Forum, the House of the Vetti, a well preserved aristocratic villa and much more.

Rome This morning we arrive in the port of Civitavecchia and travel by coach to Rome. We will enjoy a sightseeing tour of the 'Eternal City' and see the Colosseum, the Pantheon, the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain, where group members can throw a coin and make a wish to return to Rome one day.

Marseille/Provence Today we arrive in Marseilles. It is here that we board our coach to travel to Aix-en-Provence, the old capital of Provence for a sightseeing tour. A graceful city known for its beautiful sandstone buildings. We will see the Old Town with its attractive 18th and 19th-century squares, many of them with attractive fountains in their centre. There will also be time to explore the many interesting shops and cafés.

Villefranche We arrive this morning in the French Riviera city of Villefranche. We have a sightseeing tour of the elegant city of Nice, including its flower market, before travelling to the fairytale principality of Monaco. We will see the famous Monte Carlo Casino, Grand Prix circuit and cathedral, where Princess Grace is buried.

Geona This morning we arrive in Genoa and travel to the beautiful seaside town Santa Margherita Ligure, a fashionable seaside resort on the Portofino Peninsular. We then catch a ferry to the picturesque town of Portofino, holiday destination to the rich and famous. We will explore the town and have time for lunch before returning to the ship.

La Spezia Today we call into the port of La Spezia. We travel by train to the Cinque Terre region. We will stop at Vernazza for lunch (at your expense) and free time. We will see the tall colourful houses and the church clustered together at the head of a well-sheltered cove. We walk on to explore Manarola and Riomaggiore before returning to the ship.

Disembarkation/Rome This morning we disembark the ship and first visit the Papal Palace of Castel Gandolfo, also known as the Apostolic Palace of Castel Gandolfo. The Popes Summer Palace has been owned by the Vatican since 1596, after they seized it from the Savelli family who were unable to pay their debts to the church. We will see the Papal apartments, richly ornate in its furnishing and decor, and peruse the papal portrait gallery, as well as view various pontifical artefacts. The Apostolic Palace is a treasure trove of curiosities, including a papal throne, liturgical antiques and vestments and the world famous pope-mobile. We see the spectacular Papal gardens located on the edge of Lake Alba before travelling to Rome and checking into our hotel.

Rome Today we enjoy a day tour to Tivoli on the outskirts of Rome to visit Villa d'Este and Hadrian's Villa. Tivoli is home to luxurious residences, magnificent villas, and two famous UNESCO World Heritage sites: the Renaissance palace of Villa d'Este, known for its extravagant gardens and water fountains, and the ruins of Hadrian's Villa the grand second-century estate of Emperor Hadrian of ancient Rome. We return to Rome late afternoon.

International touring can involve a considerable amount of walking and stair climbing in the places visited and it is important that all tour participants have a level of physical fitness that allows them to take part in this activity without the need of assistance from others.
TOUR OPERATOR:
Travelrite International Pty Ltd (ABN 64 005 817 078) is the tour organiser, Queen Victoria is operated by Cunard and the Queen Victoria fly/cruise arrangements are subject to the terms and conditions and general information detailed in the Cunard brochure 2025. All passengers must complete and sign a Travelrite International booking form.
TOUR COSTS:
The tour costs are based on train, general transport and accommodation costs at 31 May 2025, Travelrite International reserves the right to alter the costs if any of these factors change, giving any passenger that has booked the right to withdraw with full refund of monies paid or modity arrangements. No alterations to price will be made within 90 days of departure from Australia.
DEPOSIT AND PAYMENT:
A non-refundable deposit of $1000 per passenger should be sent with a completed Travelrite International booking form that lists your requested cabin category. As soon as the booking is confirmed, (usually within 24 hours), a cruise confirmation advice will be posted to the client. The confirmation advice will contain all details. The passenger must also complete the Cunard online check in. Final payments are due to be paid to Travelrite International 90 days prior to the commencement of the Queen Victoria fly/cruise. A 1.5% administration fee will be added to payments made by credit card.

REFUNDS:
The cruise is based on arrangements which do not allow for any refunds in respect to sightseeing, accommodation, meals or other services not utilised after the tour has commenced.
TRAVEL DOCUMENTS:
All passengers will require a valid passport with at least six months validity. If not an Australian passport holder check with Travelrite International for visa requirements.
TRAVEL INSURANCE:
Adequate travel insurance is highly recommended to cover cruise members for the consequences of unforeseen events during the cruise and for cancellation fees which could result from events such as illness, accident, death etc.
BAGGAGE:
Passengers qualify for a 23kg free baggage allowance on flights to join or retum from the cruise.
MINIMUM TOUR NUMBERS:
The fly/cruise arrangements have been made on the basis of a minimum number of passengers travelling. In the event that less than the required number of passengers have confirmed their booking 90 days from the date of departure, Travelrite International reserves the right to cancel the tour, giving a full refund of monies paid, or offer arrangements to proceed with the tour at a modified fare.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Travelrite International Pty Ltd is the tour organiser. Travelrite International Pty Ltd, its agents, officers, affiliates, and/or suppliers of services pursuant to, or in connection with these fly/cruises, shall act only as agents in making arrangements for hotels, transportation, including transportation by ship, restaurants, or any other service and do not assume any liability whatsoever for any injury, damage, death, loss, accident or delay to person or property due to an act of negligence or a default of any hotel, carrier restaurant company or person rendering any services included in fly/ cruises, or by act of God. Further, no responsibilities are accepted for any damage or delay due to sickness, pilferage, labour disputes, machinery break-down, quarantine, government restraints, weather, terrorism or other causes beyond their control. No responsibility is accepted for any additional expense, omission, delays, re-routing. or acts of any government authority. Baggage is at owners' risk throughout the fly/cruise. The passage contract between the carriers concerned, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between the carriers and the purchasers of this fly/cruise and/or the passengers. The right is reserved to withdraw any fly/cruise and/or make such changes in the fly/cruises as may be found desirable or necessary for the convenience of the parties and the proper carrying out of the fly/ cruise. This contract shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia and any legal action must be undertaken in the State of Victoria. DELAYS AND UNFORESEEN EVENTS:
You engage Travelrite International to book this tour on your behalf and you acknowledge that Travelrite International acts as your agent for the purpose of making contracts between you and the various providers of accommodation, transportation and other services that comprise the tour. Travelrite International may without reference to you provide or make available to you, or may as your agent engage any third party to provide or make available to you, any good or service which Travelrite International reasonably believes is necessary for your benefit to maintain the tour itinerary, repatriate you or otherwise accommodate, transport or sustain you in circumstances in which the tour itinerary fails wholly or partly for any reason. You appoint Travelrite International your attorney for this purpose. You agree to pay Travelrite International any cost thereof and you indemnify Travelrite International in respect of any cost it incurs in this regard. Travelrite International advises you to obtain travel insurance generally including in respect of the risk that any such good or service may become required.
