Day 2 Saturday, 30 May 2026 Como, Italy
Today we arrive into Milan. On arrival, we are met by our private coach and transferred to Como, where we spend the next four nights. Como was prosperous under the Ancient Romans and reached its zenith in the 11th century. Now, it is a modern town situated in a beautiful setting on the shores of Lake Como.
Day 3 Sunday, 31 May 2026 Como
Today we take a ferry across Lake Como to Villa Carlotta, known for its beautiful setting and spectacular gardens. Built in 1745 and later given as a wedding present to Carlotta, Duchess of Saxe Meiningen. We will then take the ferry across the lake to the lovely town of Bellagio. Occupying a magnificent site on the promontory dividing Lake Lecco from Lake Como, it is known for its pretty streets, villas and gardens. The group will have the option of visiting the semi-classical Villa Melzi, known for its splendid gardens, on the shore of the lake. We return to Como by ferry in the late afternoon.
Day 4 Monday, 1 June 2026 Como
Today we travel to nearby Lake Maggiore and take a boat to Isola Bella, the most spectacular of the Borromean Islands. We will see the Palace, built in the Lombard baroque style, including its staterooms, Napoleon’s Room, the Hall of Mirrors, Music Room and more. The gardens are undoubtedly one of the most dramatic examples of 17th-century gardens in Italy, filled with statues and ornamented fountains.
Day 5 Tuesday, 2 June 2026 Como
A free day for you to explore Como.
Day 6 Wednesday, 3 June 2026 Nice, France
Today we depart Como and travel to France and the city of Nice. On arrival we check into our hotel and the rest of the afternoon is free.
Day 7 Thursday, 4 June 2026 Nice
We will enjoy a sightseeing tour of the old town of Nice this morning. We visit the famed flower market were spectacular flowers could be seen and delicious food and drinks are available to buy. The afternoon will be free to enjoy Nice.
Day 8 Friday, 5 June 2026 Nice
Today we travel to the fairytale principality of Monaco. Surrounded by France on three borders and the Mediterranean Sea on the other, this playground for the rich is also famous for one of the greatest street races in the world, the Monaco Grand Prix. We will visit the famous Monte Carlo Casino, Grand Prix circuit and cathedral, where Princess Grace is buried.
Day 9 Saturday, 6 June 2026 Embarkation
This morning will be free for some sightseeing or shopping before we board the Royal Clipper for our Grand Prix Cruise. Sip cocktails up on deck as we sail away from the port of Nice.
Day 10 Sunday, 7 June 2026 Fontvielle, Monaco
The highlight of the cruise and of the Formula One racing calendar, the 2026 Monaco Formula One Grand Prix is a real once-in-a-lifetime experience, the biggest day of the year in the glamorous principality of Monaco. Enjoy your grandstand tickets as you see this bucket-list event. The Royal Clipper will be moored in the harbour until 11.45pm tonight, so you will be able to sample the renowned nightlife of the principality after the Grand Prix.
Day 11 Monday, 8 June 2026 Saint Florent, Corsica
Discover the charm of St. Florent, where a harbour filled with prestigious yachts creates a colourful, lively scene. Enjoy a free day to explore. Stroll the vibrant marina, explore historic treasures like the 12th-century Cathedral and 15th-century Citadelle, or simply relax along the waterfront. Just beyond the village, unwind on the beaches of the Agriates or savour local wines in the vineyards of Patrimonio.
Day 12 Tuesday, 9 June 2026 Porticcio & Ajaccio, Corsica
Porticcio, nestled on the southern shore of the Gulf of Ajaccio, is a delightful seaside escape known for its soft sandy beaches and crystal-clear turquoise waters. Spend the morning exploring, before the ship continues to Ajaccio. You may wish to explore the historical city and its fort and visit the house were Napoleon Bonaparte grew up in the old town.
Day 13 Wednesday, 10 June 2026 Alghero, Sardinia
Alghero is the premier resort on Sardinia’s northwest coast and one of the island’s most captivating medieval cities. Its lively historic centre brims with atmospheric bars and restaurants, perfect for people-watching. Ideally located, Alghero is also the perfect base for exploring the stunning beaches of the nearby Riviera del Corallo. Adding to its charm, a unique form of medieval Catalan is still spoken here — an enduring legacy of its Iberian past, despite their departure over 300 years ago.
Day 14 Thursday, 11 June 2026 Bonifacio, Corsica
Bonifacio, perched dramatically on the southern tip of Corsica, is famed for its striking medieval architecture, towering limestone cliffs, and scenic harbour. Set high above the Mediterranean, this cliffside town offers sweeping views of crystal-clear waters and the nearby islands—making it one of the island’s most unforgettable destinations.
Day 15 Friday, 12 June 2026 Island of Elba, Italy
From his villa in Portoferraio Elba, the exiled Emperor Napoleon gazed out over the harbour, watching the anchored ships and dreaming of his return to power. Today, visitors can explore this historic town, visit Napoleon’s villa , enjoy tours of local vineyards, and uncover traces of the ancient Etruscan civilisation that once thrived nearby.
Day 16 Saturday, 13 June 2026 Rome, Italy
This morning we arrive into Civitavecchia. We will be met by our private coach and travel to central Rome. We will enjoy a sightseeing tour of the ‘Eternal City’ and see the Colosseum, the Pantheon, the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain, where group members can throw a coin and make a wish to return to Rome one day. In the afternoon we will check in to our hotel.
Day 17 Sunday, 14 June 2026 Rome
Today we enjoy a day tour to Tivoli on the outskirts of Rome to visit Villa d‘Éste and Hadrian’s Villa. Tivoli is home to luxurious residences, magnificent villas, and two famous UNESCO World Heritage sites: the Renaissance palace of Villa d’Este, known for its extravagant, gardens and water fountains, and the ruins of Hadrian’s Villa the grand second-century estate of Emperor Hadrian of ancient Rome. We return to Rome late afternoon.
Day 18 Monday, 15 June 2026 Rome
This morning, we continue our tour of Rome and visit the Vatican City. We visit St Peter’s Basilica where we have a chance to see Michelangelo’s Pieta statue and the fantastic interiors of the Basilica. The afternoon will be free to shop or explore Rome.
Day 19 Tuesday, 16 June 2026 Departure
This morning the group will be transferred to Rome airport for the flight back to Australia.
Day 20 Wednesday, 17 June 2026 Arrive Australia
Tour members arrive back in Australia. The tour concludes.

International touring can involve a considerable amount of walking and stair climbing in the places visited and it is important that all tour participants have a level of physical fitness that allows them to take part in this activity without the need of assistance from others.
Tour Operator:
TTravelrite International Pty Ltd, ATAS number A10538 (ABN 64 005 817 078) is the tour operator. Royal Clipper is operated by Star Clipper Cruises and the package arrangements are subject to the terms and conditions and general information detailed in the Star Clipper 2026 brochure. All passengers must complete and sign a Travelrite International booking form and complete an Star Clipper Cruise’s online check in.
Tour Costs:
The tour costs are based on general transport, accomm-odation costs and foreign exchange rate at 31 May 25. Travelrite reserves the right to alter the costs if any of these factors change, giving any passenger that has booked the right to withdraw with full refund of monies paid or modify arrangements. No alterations to price will be made within 90 days of departure from Australia.
Deposits and Payments:
A non-refundable deposit of $1,250 per twin passenger and $1,500 per single passenger is required at the time of booking. Full payment will be required 90 days before departure for the tour. A 1.5% administration fee will be charged on payments made by credit card.
Cancellation Conditions:
Cancellation over 90 days before tour departs will result in loss of deposit. Cancellation 90 days and under before tour departs will result in a loss of all monies paid.
Refunds:
The tour is based on arrangements that do not allow for any refunds in respect to sightseeing, accommodation, meals or other services not utilized after the tour has commenced.
Travel Documents:
All passengers will require a valid passport. Visas for countries visited are not required for Australian passport holders. If you hold another passport please check with Travelrite.
Travel Insurance:
Travel insurance is recommended to cover the costs of cancellation fees due to illness, death in family, etc.
Minimum Tour Numbers:
The tour has been priced on the basis of a minimum number of passengers having booked 90 days prior to departure. Travelrite reserves the right to cancel the tour, giving a full refund of all monies paid or offer arrangements to proceed with the tour at a modified cost. Travelrite reserves the right to change advertised entrances and/ or substitute the tour host, if necessary for the smooth operation of the tour.
TOUR PARTICIPATION:
Children under 5 years of age are ineligible on coach & cruise tours. Children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Passengers with disabilities are welcome on Travelrite & Cruise Offers tours provided they are accompanied by a companion capable of providing all necessary assistance, and do not require special assistance from Travelrite & Cruise Offers personnel. Travelrite and Cruise Offers reserves the right to refuse to carry anyone if it is felt the individual cannot cope with the requirements of coach & cruise tour travel and who may require services and facilities that Travelrite & Cruise Offers cannot guarantee will be available. You agree to not hold the Travelrite & Cruise Offers responsible for any decision made by any of them or any service provider to refuse to carry you, provide any facilities or accommodation to you or to provide any service to you.
Responsibility:
Travelrite International Pty Ltd. (ATAS No A10538) is the tour organiser. Travelrite acts only as an agent in the making of arrangements for hotels, transportation, restaurants or any other service and do not assume any liability whatsoever for any injury, damage, death, loss, accident or delay to person or property due to an act of negligence or a default of any hotel, carrier restaurant company or person rendering any services included in the tour, or by act of God. Further no responsibilities are accepted for any damage or delay due to sickness, pilferage, labour disputes, machinery break-down, quarantine, government restraints, weather, terrorism or other causes beyond their control. No responsibility is accepted for any additional expense, omission, delays, re-routing or acts of any government authority. The passage contract between the carriers concerned, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between the carriers and the purchasers of this tour and/or the passengers. The right is reserved to withdraw any tour and/or make such changes in the tour as may be found desirable or necessary for the convenience of the parties and the proper carrying out of the tour. This contract shall be construed in accordance of the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia and any legal action must be taken in the State of Victoria.
Delays and unforseen circumstances:
You engage Travelrite Inter-national to book this tour on your behalf and you acknowledge that Travelrite International acts as your agent for the purpose of making contracts between you and the various providers of accommodation, transporta-tion and other services that comprise the tour. Travelrite International may without reference to you provide or make available to you, or may as your agent engage any third party to provide or make available to you, any good or service which Travelrite International reasonably believes is necessary for your benefit to maintain the tour itinerary, repatriate you or otherwise accommodate, transport or sustain you in circumstances in which the tour itinerary fails wholly or partly for any reason. You appoint Travelrite International your attorney for this purpose. You agree to pay Travelrite International any cost thereof and you indemnify Travelrite International in respect of any cost it incurs in this regard. Travelrite International advises you to obtain travel insurance generally including in respect of the risk that any such good or service may become required.
