



Adam Holden has been a member of the PGA of Australia since 1998. He has won the Tasmanian PGA Championship twice along with numerous other wins and high finishes across Australia. Originally from Devonport, Adam returned home to Tasmania in 2019 after living overseas for 20 years coaching golf, including 17 years in Ottawa, Canada. Adam is passionate about travelling the world playing the best golf courses. The group will meet Adam Holden and other tour members this evening at our included welcome dinner. Hotel: Victoria and Alfred Hotel.
DAY 2 Friday 9 October 2026 Cape Town
Play Pearl Valley Golf Club (Golf Digest Top 100 Courses South Africa #14). In the morning we enjoy a very special trip by cable car to the summit of Table Mountain. We then travel through the Cape Winelands to Pearl Valley to play a round of golf.
DAY 3 Saturday 10 October 2026 Hermanus
Arabella - Play Arabella (Golf Digest Top 100 Courses South Africa #8). Today we take a short drive to play the #9 ranked course in South Africa, Arabella. This championship course is situated alongside a lagoon bordering the Kogelberg Nature Reserve. Hotel: Arabella Hotel and Golf Spa.
DAY 4 Sunday 11 October 2026 Hermanus & George
After breakfast we will take a short drive to the scenic town of Hermanus recognised by the WWF as one of the 12 best whale watching destinations in the world. After hopefully getting some great photos of the whales we continue our adventure along the world-famous Garden Route towards George. Hotel: Fancourt Resort.
DAY 5 Monday 12 October 2026 Knysna & George
Play Pezula Golf Club (Golf Digest Top 100 Courses South Africa 2016/17 #20). Today we travel to Knysna and play Pezula Championship Course. After golf we drive to Knysna Elephant Park where we will get up close and personal with African elephants.
DAY 6 Tuesday 13 October 2026 George
Play Fancourt Montagu (Golf Digest Top 100 Courses South Africa #12). Today we will play the exquisitely conditioned Montagu at the heart of Fancourt, with its glorious parkland layout.
DAY 7 Wednesday 14 October 2026 George
Play the Fancourt Links (Golf Digest Top 100 Courses South Africa #2). To play world-renowned Fancourt Links you must stay at Fancourt Country Club Estate.
DAY 8 Thursday 15 October 2026 Kruger
Today we fly to the awe-inspiring Kruger National Park, where the magnificent 'Big 5' roam free. Hotel: Buhala Lodge.
DAY 9 Friday 16 October 2026 Kruger
Play Mbompela Golf Course. Today we enjoy a round of golf at the scenic Mbombela Golf Club, located in the heart of Mpumalanga.
DAY 10 Saturday 17 October 2026 Kruger
Early this morning we will head out for our Safari in Kruger National Park. Hopefully we will see the 'Big 5' (Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Rhino and Buffalo).
DAY 11 Sunday 18 October 2026 Kruger
Play Leopard Creek (Golf Digest Top 100 Courses South Africa #5). This morning we play at Leopard Creek. This stunning bushveldt course is meticulously laid out to provide a challenge to the professional but also enjoyment to the average player.
DAY 12 Monday 19 October 2026 Sun City
Today is a travel day as we journey from the wilds of Kruger National Park to the luxury of Sun City. We begin with a flight to Johannesburg, where we'll meet our coach for the scenic transfer to Sun City. Hotel: The Palace at Lost City Hotel, Sun City Resort.
DAY 13 Tuesday 20 October 2026 Sun City
Play Lost City. Today we will play Lost City. The 13th hole, where the green is shaped to resemble the continent of Africa, is protected by 9 bunkers and crocodiles.
DAY 14 Wednesday 21 October 2026 Sun City
Today we will have a game drive in the 57,000 hectares of the Pilanesberg Game Reserve brimming with almost all of Southern Africa's game species.
DAY 15 Thursday 22 October 2026 Sun City
Play Gary Player Country Club (Golf Digest Top 100 Courses South Africa #11). Today we will play the Gary Player Country Club, which is consistently ranked at the very top in the country and is home to the annual Nedbank Challenge. This evening, we will enjoy a farewell dinner and presentation of prizes.
DAY 16 Friday 23 October 2026 Departure
This morning we will depart for our journey to Johannesburg airport. The tour concludes when we arrive at the airport for your flights back to Australia.

Touring can involve a considerable amount of walking and stair climbing in the places visited and it is important that all tour participants have a level of physical fitness that allows them to take part in this tour without the need of assistance from others.

GOLF COURSES AND TEE TIMES:
Golf bookings have been made for all the courses.
DEPOSIT AND PAYMENT:
Travelrite International has to pay substantial deposits up-front to secure dates on these elite golf courses as well as to book accommodation in the high quality hotels. You are therefore required to pay a non-refundable deposit of $800 per passenger, at the time of booking. The final balance is due within 60 days of departure. Cancellation by you within 60 days of departure will result in the loss of all monies paid. The Tour is based on arrangements which do NOT allow for refunds for any services not utilised, once the Tour has commenced.
MAXIMUM HANDICAPS:
Most clubs expect golfing competence. Please carry your handicap certificate or Golf Link print out, although you may not be asked to produce it.
EXCHANGE RATES:
Tour prices are based on the average exchange rates as of 1 October 2025. Travelrite International reserves the right to add a surcharge if the Australian dollar weakens against the South African Rand. No change will be made within 60 days of departure.
MINIMUM NUMBERS:
The Tour has been based on a minimum of 10 passengers, (including Adam). If less than this minimum has booked 60 days prior to departure, Travelrite reserves the right to cancel the Tour, giving a prompt refund of all monies paid, or to offer arrangements to proceed at a modified cost.
TRAVEL DOCUMENTS:
All travellers must be in possession of a valid passport. No Visa's are required.

Adequate travel insurance is strongly recommended; insure your clubs to the maximum.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Travelrite International acts only as agents in making arrangements with carriers, hoteliers and others for the Tour. As a result we cannot accept liability for any act or omission whatsoever, whether negligent or otherwise of those carriers, hoteliers or other persons providing services in connection with the tour over whom we have no direct or exclusive control. We do not accept responsibility for any injury, damage, loss, delay, change of schedule or any other events which are beyond our direct control, such as, but not limited to, war, flood, fire, civil disturbance, terrorism, acts of God, acts of Government or any other authorities, accidents to or failure of machinery or equipment, or industrial action. The passage contract in use by the carriers concerned, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between the transportation companies or firms and the purchasers of these tours and the passengers. Baggage is at own risk throughout the tour. The contract shall be construed in the accordance with the laws of State of Victoria and any legal action is required to be taken in the State of Victoria.
