DAY 2 Friday May 10, 2024 Monaco
We arrive in Nice, where we are met by our coach and are transferred to the
Principality of Monaco and our hotel. Enjoy staying in Monaco during our
time at the Monaco Historic Grand Prix!
DAY 3 Saturday May 11, 2024 Monaco Historic Grand Prix
Today we enjoy one of the highlights of the tour. We will be guided to our
grandstand seats at the biennial Monaco Historic Grand Prix. This is not just
another race track, this is Monaco, the crown jewel of motor racing since the
earliest days of the sport. See historic racing and sports cars navigate the
twisting Monaco track in one of the most glamorous places in the world. See
the Bugattis, Alfas, Maseratis, Ferraris and other classics, some of which are
worth millions, reliving the days of some of the most famous drivers, in this,
the most stylish of racing tracks. Fantastic!
DAY 4 Sunday May 12, 2024 Monaco Historic Grand Prix
Take your grandstand seats for the finals of the 2024 Monaco Historic Grand
Prix. A fantastic day to enjoy the unique atmosphere of this event in the heart
of Monaco. Then after the event, enjoy the many attractions this principality
has to offer.
DAY 5 Monday May 13, 2024 Turin, Italy
We depart Monaco today and travel into Italy and the city of Turin. On arrival
we visit the museum of the famed automotive design house, Pininfarina.
Known for the design of many classic vehicles, from Ferraris to Alfas, the
museum contains a fascinating collection of concept cars and those that
made it through to production. We then continue to our hotel.
DAY 6 Tuesday May 14, 2024 Turin
Today we will visit the very impressive National Automobile Museum of
Italy. The collection has around 200 cars and includes the first Italian cars,
Bernardi 1896 and 1899 Fiat, the Rolls Royce Silver Ghost 1914, and racing cars
by Ferrari and Alfa Romeo. In the afternoon we visit the Centro Storico Fiat
which hosts a collection of automobiles, mementos, models and advertising
that span the company’s history. Those wishing to dine together can meet
in the lobby, where the tour manager will suggest good-value restaurants
for dinner.
DAY 7 Wednesday May 15, 2024 Modena, Italy
We depart Turin this morning and travel first to the Alfa Romeo museum
in Milan. This extensive museum is devoted to the famed Alfa Romeo brand
detailing its history. We then travel to the city of Brescia for the famed
Mille Miglia, a recreation of the 1000 miles race that ran between 1927 and
1961. Known as “the most beautiful race in the world”, it was perhaps the
most prestigious endurance race in Italy. We visit the museum devoted to
the race before we continue on to Modena the centre of the exotic Italian
motor industry.
DAY 8 Thursday May 16, 2024 Modena
We visit the home of Lamborghini in the town of Sant’Agata Bolognese,
south of Bologna. We have a tour of the factory where these amazing
supercars are manufactured. We will see the assembly line of the Gallardo
LP 560- 4 and follow step by-step, the making of a car: from the body shell
to the interior and the mounting of Lamborghini’s V10 engine. We will then
visit the acclaimed Lamborghini Museum, which has an example of almost
every vehicle manufactured by the company. We then travel to the town
of San Cesario sul Panaro, where the relatively new marque of Pagani is
manufactured. We visit the factory and find out how these amazing vehicles
are manufactured.
DAY 9 Friday May 17, 2024 Modena
This morning we visit the Righini Collection of classic cars. The collection has
a particular emphasis on classic Alfa Romeos. We then visit the Stanguellini
Museum that details the history of the oldest automotive manufacturer in
Modena. We continue to the Museo Ferruccio Lamborghini which details the
life of the founder of Lamborghini and his development of the famous sports
cars. We then return to the hotel.
DAY 10 Saturday May 18, 2024 Modena
This morning we will visit the Enzo Ferrari Museum. Built around the home
Enzo Ferrari grew up in, the museum details the great car manufacturer’s life
amongst a classic collection of some of the cars he created. We then travel to
Maranello, where the Ferrari factory is located, visit the Ferrari museum and
take a bus tour through the factory grounds. The ground floor of the museum
is dedicated to Formula One; upstairs are the Ferrari road cars, where pride of
place goes to The Enzo, the car dedicated to its founder. We have an included
lunch today, at the Ristorante Cavallino, the famous restaurant across the
road from the factory, where Enzo Ferrari used to dine. (L)
DAY 11 Sunday May 19, 2024 Modena
This morning we visit the Panini collection of Maserati cars. Founded by
Umberto Panini, the collection is the finest in the world. We then visit the
Dallara Academy Museum which details the Dellara company’s association
with motorsport over the years. We then return to the hotel.
DAY 12 Monday May 20, 2024 Nurburgring, Germany
Today we fly to Cologne in Germany. Upon arrival we will travel to Nurburg
for one of the highlights of the tour, where we will have the chance to drive
the famous Nurburgring. The Nurburgring, nicknamed “The Green Hell” by
Jackie Stewart, is widely considered one of the most demanding and difficult
purpose-built racing circuits in the world. The home of the German Grand
Prix until 1939 on the full circuit and until 1977 on the northern circuit, driving
this amazing track will be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. We will also have
an included dinner to celebrate our time at the Nurburgring at the Schmidt
family restaurant. (D).
DAY 13 Tuesday May 21, 2024 Nurburgring
Today we take a driving tour around the area on public roads in a collection
of sports cars where we learn about the history of this iconic track. We will
change cars frequently so that everyone has the chance to drive each of the
various high performance vehicles.
DAY 14 Wednesday May 22, 2024 Stuttgart, Germany
This morning we travel south to Speyer and then to the Auto and Technik
Museum at Sinsheim and see their impressive collection of cars, planes and
other vehicles. We then continue on to Stuttgart and our hotel.
DAY 15 Thursday May 23, 2024 Stuttgart
This morning we visit the Mercedes Museum. The museum details the
development of the automobile, from its invention to the present day. In the
afternoon we visit the Porsche Museum, which is located in a spectacular
modern architectural building. We then visit the Porsche factory to see how
these iconic sport cars are made.
DAY 16 Friday May 24, 2024 Como, Italy
Today we fly to Milan. On arrival we will first visit Volandia Aircraft and Transport
museum to see the Bertone collection. This collection of rare concept vehicles
and production cars from the Bertone design house. We then travel to Lake
Como and our hotel.
DAY 17 Saturday May 25, 2024 Como
Today is a free day to explore Lake Como. Perhaps enjoy a cruise on the lake
and view the beautiful homes of the rich and famous.
DAY 18 Sunday May 26, 2024 Como
The final day of the Concorso d’Eleganza. The historic automobiles will be
paraded and judged, including some categories by the public. Amazing
vehicles of motoring history, often worth millions, from the most prestigious
manufacturers, are shown. Modern concept cars are also displayed. There is
often a release of a very special sports cars from manufacturers such as Aston
Martin, Ferrari, Lamborghini and others. Enjoy this classic motoring event in
the beautiful surrounds of Lake Como.
DAY 19 Monday May 27, 2024 Departure
This morning we travel to Milan airport for our flights back to Australia.

International touring can involve a considerable amount of walking and stair climbing in the places visited and it is important that all tour participants have a level of physical fitness that allows them to take part in this activity without the need of assistance from others.

Tour Costs:
The tour costs are based on airfare, general transport,
accommodation costs and foreign exchange rate at 1/5/23. Travelrite
reserves the right to alter the costs if any of these factors change,
giving any passenger that has booked the right to withdraw with
full refund of monies paid or modify arrangements. No alterations to
price will be made within 60 days of departure from Australia.
Deposits and Payments:
A deposit of $1200 per person for is
required at the time of booking. Full payment will be required 60
days before departure for the tour. A 1.5% admin-istration fee will be
added to payments by Visa, Mastercard and Amex cards.
Air Taxes:
From Sydney/Melbourne/Brisbane and Perth as listed
in the itinerary. Please contact us for air taxes from different
cities. Air taxes are as at as at 1/5/23. If they change due to government
and airline charges and currency variations, Travelrite
International reserves the right to charge additional amounts.
Cancellation Conditions:
Cancellations within 60 days of departure will result in the loss of all monies paid. Cancellation
outside 60 days from departure will result in a cancell-ation fee of
$1200 per person.
Travel Insurance:
Travel insurance is recommended to cover
the costs of cancellation fees due to illness, death in family, etc.
Minimum Tour Numbers and Conditions:
The tour has been priced on the basis of a minimum number of passengers having
booked 60 days prior to departure. Travelrite reserves the right
to cancel the tour, giving a full refund of all monies paid or offer
arrangements to proceed with the tour at a modified cost. Travelrite
reserves the right to change advertised entrances if necessary for the
smooth operation of the tour.
Refunds:
The tour is based on arrangements that do not allow
for any refunds in respect to sightseeing, accommodation, meals,
airfare or other services not utilized after the tour has commenced.

Travel Documents:
All passengers will require a valid passport.
Visas for countries visited are not required for Australian passport
holders. If you hold another passport please check with Travelrite.
Baggage:
All passengers qualify for the 30kg free baggage
allowance on the flight. One suitcase is allowed per person on the
tour.
TOUR PARTICIPATION:
Children under 5 years of age are ineligible on coach & cruise tours. Children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Passengers with disabilities are welcome on Travelrite & Cruise Offers tours provided they are accompanied by a companion capable of providing all necessary assistance, and do not require special assistance from Travelrite & Cruise Offers personnel. Travelrite and Cruise Offers reserves the right to refuse to carry anyone if it is felt the individual cannot cope with the requirements of coach & cruise tour travel and who may require services and facilities that Travelrite & Cruise Offers cannot guarantee will be available. You agree to not hold the Travelrite & Cruise Offers responsible for any decision made by any of them or any service provider to refuse to carry you, provide any facilities or accommodation to you or to provide any service to you.
Responsibility:
Travelrite International Pty Ltd. is the tour
organiser. Travelrite acts only as an agent in the making of arrangements
for hotels, transportation, restaurants or any other service
and do not assume any liability whatsoever for any injury, damage,
death, loss, accident or delay to person or property due to an act of
negligence or a default of any hotel, carrier restaurant company or
person rendering any services included in the tour, or by act of God.
Further no respons-ibilities are accepted for any damage or delay
due to sickness, pilferage, labour disputes, machinery breakdown,
quarantine, government restraints, weather, terrorism or other
causes beyond their control. No responsibility is accepted for any
additional expense, omission, delays, re-routing or acts of any
government authority. The passage contract between the carriers
concerned, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between
the carriers and the purchasers of this tour and/or the passengers.
The right is reserved to withdraw any tour and/or make such
changes in the tour as may be found desirable or necessary for the
convenience of the parties and the proper carrying out of the tour.
This contract shall be construed in accordance of the laws of the
State of Victoria, Australia and any legal action must be undertaken
in the State of Victoria.
Delays And Unforeseen Events:
You engage Travelrite to book
this tour on your behalf and you acknowledge that Travelrite acts as
your agent for the purpose of making contracts between you and
the various providers of accommodation, transportation and other
services that comprise the tour. Travelrite may without reference to
you provide or make available to you, or may as your agent engage
any third party to provide or make available to you, any good or
service which Travelrite reasonably believes is necessary for your
benefit to maintain the tour itinerary, repatriate you or otherwise
accommodate, transport or sustain you in circumstances in which the tour itinerary fails wholly or partly for any reason. You appoint
Travelrite your attorney for this purpose. You agree to pay Travelrite
any cost thereof and you indemnify Travelrite in respect of any
cost it incurs in this regard. Travelrite advises you to obtain travel
insurance generally including in respect of the risk that any such
good or service may become required.
