



DAY 1 Friday 11 November, 2022 Melbourne/Wodonga
The tour group will meet at Melbourne’s Spencer Street Station latemorning to join our private tour coach to transfer to Wodonga on theMurray River. Please talk to your travel consultant if you are comingfrom interstate. On our way north we will stop in Euroa, site of one ofNed Kelly’s hold up’s, with time for lunch. Upon arrival in Wodonga lateafternoon we will check into our motel. This evening the group willenjoy included welcome drinks.
DAY 2 Saturday 12 November, 2022 Wodonga
We transfer to the spectacular High Country Rail Trail this morning forour first ride. The long riders will transfer to Shelly and ride back toWodonga via Tallangatta (80km). Our starting point is Shelley Station,once the highest railway station in Victoria. Along the way ride overhistoric trestle bridges, past Tatonga Inlet and Lake Hume withwonderful views along the way. The short riders will start in Tallangattaand return to Wodonga along the shores of Lake Hume (39km).Tallangatta is recognised as a National Trust Notable Town due to itsdistinctive 1950’s flair. It was relocated from lower ground in 1956 toallow for expansion of the Lake Hume reservoir.
DAY 3 Sunday 13 November, 2022 Bright
This morning we travel by coach the short distance to Beechworth tobegin the Murray to Mountains Rail Trail. There will be free time toexplore the beautiful town of Beechworth before the long rider’s cycleto Bright via Everton and Myrtleford (78km). The short riders willdepart from Beechworth and finish in Myrtleford (44km). Both inMyrtleford and along the bike path are farm gates and cellar doorswith local produce such as vegetables, berries, nuts, olives, beef andwine. After transfer to our Bright motel the evening will be free.
DAY 4 Monday 14 November, 2022 Bright
Bright is nestled in the beautiful Ovens Valley and surrounded by theAustralian Alps. We will enjoy spectacular views and wonderful springcolours on the trail today. The short riders finish the Murray toMountain Rail Trail by cycling the Bright to Myrtleford section (34km).
The long riders will cycle an alternative route from Bright to Milawa(70km).
There will be more opportunities to stop at roadside produceand wine suppliers. We return to Bright for a relaxing evening.
DAY 5 Tuesday 15 November, 2022 Alexandra
A free morning in Bright to explore the town and visit the quaint shopsand cafés. This afternoon we transfer to Alexandra.
Alexandra is anattractive town in the Goulburn Valley surrounded by rolling greenhills. It has become a fashionable rural retreat with good cafes and isclose proximity to beautiful waterfalls and glorious lookouts. Alexandrais our base for two nights from which we tackle the Great Victorian RailTrail.
DAY 6 Wednesday 16 November, 2022 Alexandra
This morning we enjoy cycling the Great Victorian rail trail with theshort riders transferring to Yea for the return cycle from Yea toAlexandra (34km). A highlight is cycling through the Cheviot Tunnel.The long riders transfer to Mansfield and return to Alexandra viaBonnie Doon (across Lake Eildon), Kanumbra and Yarck (74km). If theyare quick enough we will pull into Alexandra together as a group mid-afternoon. The evening will be at leisure.
DAY 7 Thursday 17 November, 2022 Warburton
Another great day on the Great Victorian Rail Trail. The long ridersdepart from Alexandra and cycle via the Cheviot tunnel and Yea toTallarook (72.5km). The short riders will transfer to Yea and follow theGoulburn River to Tallarook (38.5km). Upon arrival in Tallarook wetransfer to Lilydale on the outskirts of Melbourne and the startingpoint for the Warburton Rail Trail. This evening we will enjoy a finalnight dinner to celebrate a great week’s cycling.
DAY 8 Friday 18 November, 2022 Depart
Our final ride for the tour! The group will transfer to Warburton, withsome time for a quick look at the town before starting the returnjourney to Lilydale. The short riders cycle straight to Lilydale (38km)whilst the long riders will continue to Yarra Glen (50km). Lunch will beon route and once completed we will transfer to Spencer St Station.Airport transfers can also be arranged.

Touring can involve a considerable amount of walking and stair-climbing in the places visited and it is important that all tour participants have a level of physical fitness that allows them to take part in this activity without the need of assistance from others.
Tour Operator: Travelrite International Pty Ltd, ATAS number A10538 (ABN 64 005 817078) is the tour operator.
Tour Costs: The tour costs are based on general transport, accommodation costs andforeign exchange rate at 1/11/21. Travelrite reserves the right to alter the costs if any ofthese factors change, giving any passenger that has booked the right to withdraw with fullrefund of monies paid or modify arrangements. No alterations to price will be made within90 days of departure from Australia.
Deposit and Payment: A deposit of $500 per passenger is required at the time ofbooking. Full payment will be required 60 days before departure for the tour. A 1.5%administration fee will be charged on payments made by credit card.
Cancellation Charges: * Cancellation conditions don’t apply for clients with future cruise/tour credits. Cruise/tour credits are non-refundable. Deposits are refundable up to 90 days prior to departure.cancellations between 90 and 60 days will result in loss of deposit. Cancellations within 60days of departure will result in the loss of all monies paid.
Travel Insurance: Travel insurance is recommended to cover the costs of cancellation fees due to illness, death in family, etc.
Minimum Tour Numbers: The tour has been priced on the basis of aminimum number of passengers having booked 60 days prior to departure. Travelritereserves the right to cancel the tour, giving a full refund of all monies paid or offerarrangements to proceed with the tour at a modified cost. Travelrite reserves the right tochange advertised entrances and/ or substitute the tour host, if necessary for the smoothoperation of the tour. The tour is based on arrangements that do not allow for any refundsin respect to sightseeing, accommodation, meals or other services not utilized after the tourhas commenced.
Baggage:
Due to coach restrictions tour members can only bring one large suitcase.
Travel Documents: All passengers will require a valid passport. Visas for countries visited are not required for Australian passport holders. If you hold another passport please check with Travelrite.
Tour Participation:
Children under 5 years of age are ineligible on coach & cruise tours. Children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Passengers with disabilities are welcome on Travelrite & Cruise Offers tours provided they are accompanied by a companion capable of providing all necessary assistance, and do not require special assistance from Travelrite & Cruise Offers personnel. Travelrite and Cruise Offers reserves the right to refuse to carry anyone if it is felt the individual cannot cope with the requirements of coach & cruise tour travel and who may require services and facilities that Travelrite & Cruise Offers cannot guarantee will be available. You agree to not hold the Travelrite & Cruise Offers responsible for any decision made by any of them or any service provider to refuse to carry you, provide any facilities or accommodation to you or to provide any service to you.

You engage Travelrite International to book this tour onyour behalf and you acknowledge that Travelrite International acts as your agent for thepurpose of making contracts between you and the various providers of accommodation,transportation and other services that comprise the tour. Travelrite International maywithout reference to you provide or make available to you, or may as your agent engageany third party to provide or make available to you, any good or service which TravelriteInternational reasonably believes is necessary for your benefit to maintain the touritinerary, repatriate you or otherwise accommodate, transport or sustain you incircumstances in which the tour itinerary fails wholly or partly for any reason. You appoint Travelrite International your attorney for this purpose. You agree to pay TravelriteInternational any cost thereof and you indemnify Travelrite International in respect of anycost it incurs in this regard. Travelrite International advises you to obtain travel insurancegenerally including in respect of the risk that any such good or service may becomerequired.
