Day 2 Tuesday 7 September, 2021
Montreal, Canada
Today we enjoy a sightseeing tour of Old
Montreal. Founded in 1642 by French
colonists, by the 1860s it was the economic
heart of Canada. Today it is the second
biggest city in Canada, only to Toronto, and
the largest French-speaking city in Canada.
We see bustling Place Jacques Cartier and
the Basilique Notre Dame, situated in Place
D’Armes. We see the Old Seminary built by
Sulpician missionaries in 1685, the oldest
building in Montreal. The afternoon will be free
for you to explore Montreal.

Day 3 Wednesday 8 September, 2021
Quebec City, Canada
This morning we travel to the historic city
of Quebec. Founded in 1608 the Old Town
of Quebec is the only walled city in North
America and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
At over 400 years-old the city is known for its
cobblestone streets and squares and historic
buildings. We will enjoy a walking tour through
the charming streets of Québec’s Old Town,
best explored on foot, to discover nearly four
centuries of history in what is essentially a
living museum. See Place-Royale where typical
stone buildings surrounding the historic
square that constitutes the heart of the Lower
Town. It is home to North America’s oldest
Catholic Church – Notre-Dame-des-Victoires.
The lower town has streets lined with shops
and art galleries, which reflect the streets 18th
century heritage. We see the Royal Battery,
which has been reconstructed and replicas of
18th-century canons are on display. We travel
to the upper town, which was the hub of the
city’s economic activity until the mid-19th
century. We transfer to our hotel for check in
late afternoon.

A free day for you to explore Quebec City. You
may like to take the scenic train of Train de
Charlevoix. The train offers a unique 125km rail
journey between mountains and sea, across a

Charlottetown, Canada
This afternoon we dock in Charlottetown, the
gracious capital of Prince Edward Island, with
street’s lined with colourful planters. Prince
Edward Island is the location for the novel
Anne of Green Gables and the home of the
author Lucy Maud Montgomery. Today you
may like to visit Anne of Green Gables Museum
at Silverbush. This is the spacious house, where
the author was married in 1911.

Sydney, Canada
Today we arrive in the Colonial Town of Old
Sydney, founded by Loyalists fleeing the
American Revolution. Sydney embraces its
history at every turn, from the historical Cossit
House and Jost houses, which were built in
the 1780s, to St. Patrick’s Church, the oldest
Catholic Church in Cape Breton and the
final resting place of some of Sydney’s early
colonists. You may choose to stay in town or
take a ship excursion and explore the Cabot
Trail, where you’ll view some of the most
dramatic and pristine scenery in North America
including spruce covered mountains, tranquil
rivers and ocean beaches.

Halifax, Canada
This morning we arrive in Halifax, the
world’s second-largest natural harbour. This
beautifully preserved city is Nova Scotia’s
capital and was founded in 1749. Take a tour
and visit the quaint fishing village of Peggy’s
Cove, home to one of the most spectacular
lighthouses in Canada. Peggy’s Cove is famed
for its picturesque and typically East-Coast
profile, with houses perched along a narrow
inlet and on wave-washed boulders facing the
Atlantic. Or stay in town and explore some of
the historic sites and landmarks such as the
Spring Garden Road area, the Province House,
Old Town Clock, St Paul’s Church, City Hall and
the Halifax cemetery, where some of those
who perished on the Titanic are buried.

Portland, Maine
This morning we arrive in the lively city of
Portland. You may like to take an excursion
to explore the rugged coastline and historic
landmarks. Travel along Old Port and see the
old brick warehouses, which have been reborn
by artisans, pub owners, and fashionistas. Pass
old Victorian mansions and enjoy stunning
panoramic views of Casco Bay as you follow
the coast to Fort Williams, where you’ll see
the oldest working lighthouse in Maine. Or
you may like to explore the charming coastal
village of Kennebunkport, and view the
stunning Federal and Victorian-style homes
built by wealthy sea captains and merchants
in the 18th and 19th centuries.

Bar Harbor, USA
This morning we arrive in Bar Harbor, Maine. A
beautiful natural area where many celebrities
have holiday houses. Explore some of the
beautiful natural scenery in the area. You may

Loop Road through Acadia National Park,
designated one of America’s most scenic
byways and admire the spectacular coastal
scenery, with stops for photographs.

Day 12 Friday 17 September, 2021
Boston, USA
This morning we arrive in Boston, known as
the cradle of American Independence and
is now New England’s centre for finance and
technology. The home of Harvard University,
the area is among the most varied and
interesting in America. After breakfast we
disembark and we will enjoy a tour of the
city with a local guide and see Paul Revere’s
House and Kings Chapel, home to the largest
and sweetest-sounding bell. We will also visit
Faneuil Hall, and the Old Statehouse, which
was the seat of Colonial Government from
1713. Our tour concludes at the hotel midafternoon
for check in.

A free day for you to explore Boston. You may
like to wander along the Freedom Trail which
winds around the city center, connecting 16
historically significant sites, from the country’s
oldest public park to a Revolutionary War

New York City, USA
Today we depart Boston and travel south
to the Big Apple, New York City by train!
Upon arrival we will enjoy sightseeing tour
of exciting New York City. We will see the
many famous landmarks such as the Statue
of Liberty, Times Square, the Empire State
Building, the 9/11 memorial and the United
Nations Building. We will also enjoy a short
walk around Central Park, the ‘lungs of the city’.
The rest of the afternoon is free for sightseeing
and shopping. A walk up 5th Avenue is an
unforgettable experience as is walking around
Soho, Tribeca and Brooklyn.

Today will be free to explore the city that never
sleeps! You may wish to take in spectacular
views of New York from the top of the
Empire State Building or the Top of the Rock

at www.ncl.com and sign an online Cruise Offers Value Holidays booking form.
TOUR COSTS:
The tour costs are based on airfare, shipping, general transport,
accommodation costs and foreign exchange rates at 1 April 2020. Cruise Offers
reserves the right to alter the costs if any of these factors change, giving any
passenger that has booked the right to withdraw with full refund of monies paid
or modify arrangements. No alterations to price will be made within 90 days of
departure from Australia.
DEPOSITS AND PAYMENTS:
All Cruise Offers Value Holidays are heavily discounted and
available for a limited time only. For this reason we require a deposit of $1500 at the
time of booking. This payment is non-refundable. The deposit should be sent with
a completed Cruise Offers booking form that lists your requested cabin category. As
soon as the booking is confirmed, (usually within 24 hours), a cruise confirmation
advice will be posted to the client. The confirmation advice will contain all details.
The passenger must also complete the online Norwegian Cruise Line cruise
personaliser at www.ncl.com. Final payments are due to be paid to Cruise Offers
120 days prior to the commencement of the Norwegian Gem fly/cruise. A 1.5%
administration fee will be added all credit card payments. Any changes made to a
booking after purchase may incur fees.

TRAVEL INSURANCE:
Adequate travel insurance is required to cover cruise
members for the consequences of unforeseen events during the cruise and
for cancellation fees which could result from events such as illness, accident,
death etc.
MINIMUM TOUR NUMBERS AND CONDITIONS:
The fly/cruise arrangements have been made on the
basis of a minimum number of passengers travelling. In the event that less than
the required number of passengers have confirmed their booking 120 days from
the date of departure, Cruise Offers reserves the right to cancel the tour, giving
a full refund of monies paid, or offer arrangements to proceed with the tour at a
modified fare.
TOUR ORGANISATION:
Cruise Offers Value Holidays reserves the right to change
advertised entrances if necessary, for the smooth operation of the tour.
REFUNDS:
The tour is based on arrangements that do not allow for any refunds
in respect to sightseeing, accommodation, meals, airfare or other services not
utilized after the tour has commenced.
TRAVEL DOCUMENTS:
All passengers will require a valid passport. A visa waiver is
required for Canada and the USA. If not an Australian passport holder check with
Cruise Offers for visa requirements.
BAGGAGE:
All passengers qualify for the 30kg free baggage allowance.
GROUP AIRLINE SEATING:
Please note; you will be booked as part of a group
booking with the airline, this means we are unable to confirm any seating
requests. Pre purchasing of flights and payment of airline seat booking fees
allows allocation of specific seats. Additional costs will apply.
TOUR PARTICIPATION:
Children under 5 years of age are ineligible on coach & cruise tours. Children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Passengers with disabilities are welcome on Travelrite & Cruise Offers tours provided they are accompanied by a companion capable of providing all necessary assistance, and do not require special assistance from Travelrite & Cruise Offers personnel. Travelrite and Cruise Offers reserves the right to refuse to carry anyone if it is felt the individual cannot cope with the requirements of coach & cruise tour travel and who may require services and facilities that Travelrite & Cruise Offers cannot guarantee will be available. cruise. The passage contract between the carriers concerned, when issued, shall

the convenience of the parties and the proper carrying out of the fly/cruise. This

DELAYS AND UNFORESEEN EVENTS:
You engage Cruise Offers (a division of
Travelrite International) to book this tour on your behalf and you acknowledge that
Cruise Offers acts as your agent for the purpose of making contracts between you
and the various providers of accommodation, transportation and other services
that comprise the tour. Cruise Offers may without reference to you provide or make
available to you, or may as your agent engage any third party to provide or make
available to you, any good or service which Cruise Offers reasonably believes is
necessary for your benefit to maintain the tour itinerary, repatriate you or otherwise
accommodate, transport or sustain you in circumstances in which the tour itinerary
fails wholly or partly for any reason. You appoint Cruise Offers your attorney for this
purpose. You agree to pay Cruise Offers any cost thereof and you indemnify Cruise
Offers in respect of any cost it incurs in this regard. Cruise Offers advises you to
obtain travel insurance generally including in respect of the risk that any such good
