



The Indian Pacific is one of the great railway journeys of the world, travelling across the continent from Sydney to Perth or reverse. On the way, see the desert wilderness of the Nullarbor Plain, the mining town of Broken Hill and the fine city of Adelaide. Gold Service offers you a sleeper cabin that is a three-seater lounge during the day, which converts to two beds during the evening. The restaurant car serves fine food carefully prepared. About a third of people on the tour travel alone. Single cabins are available! You won’t be left alone; the Travelrite International tour manager will be there to guide you. There will be group activities almost every day.

VIEW ITINERARYDAY 1 Wednesday 26 May 2021 Sydney/Indian Pacific
This afternoon we board the Indian Pacific. Travelling between the Indian
and Pacific oceans for over 40 years, this truly is one of the world’s great
train journeys. More than three million guests have already enjoyed this
epic journey, which spans a continent, travelling the whole distance in
three days and three nights. Setting off from Sydney, your train will climb
to the heights of the majestic Blue Mountains as you sate your appetite
with one of the Indian Pacific’s signature dining experiences. This evening
we will enjoy a welcome drinks party to commence our spectacular tour.
DAY 2 Thursday 27 May 2021 Broken Hill & Adelaide
This morning we arrive in Broken Hill, a classic mining town where the
streets are wide and there’s a cosy country pub on every corner. On your
Off Train Excursion, explore the rustic beauty of this Silver City and all
the artistic culture than abounds in the area. Step back on board, head
straight to the Queen Adelaide Restaurant for a traditionally cooked
Australian breakfast that is sure to delight. By the time your next meal is
served, you’ll be well into South Australia and coasting across the tip of
the Flinders Ranges. Upon arrival in Adelaide, you’ll have your choice of
whiling away the afternoon and evening in the picturesque city itself, or
historic Barossa Valley.
DAY 3 Friday 28 May 2021 Cook & Nullarbor
Wake up to the raw beauty of the Nullarbor Plains. Take some time to
reflect on the changing landscape on Australia’s longest single stretch of
railway as you dig into a delicious breakfast. Your sense of wonder will be
ignited anew when you step off the train in Rawlinna in the evening for an
Outback roast under the desert stars.
DAY 4 Saturday 29 May 2021 Fremantle
This afternoon we arrive in Perth. We will be transferred to our hotel in
Fremantle, our base for the next three nights. There will be free time to
explore the historic dockside city of Fremantle.
DAY 5 Sunday 30 May 2021 Fremantle
We will be met by our private coach for a panoramic city tour of the sights
of Perth, including the Governor’s Residence, Parliament House and Perth
University. We travel to King’s Park, where we are able to admire the
spectacular views over the city and the Swan River before returning to
Fremantle via the famous Cottesloe Beach.
DAY 6 Monday 31 May 2021 Fremantle
This morning we will learn about the pioneering history of Western
Australia during a sightseeing tour of Fremantle. We visit the Fremantle
Prison, built in the 1850s by convicts; it was used as a place of incarceration
and punishment for nearly 140 years. We will then visit The Round House,
the first permanent building in Western Australia.
DAY 7 Tuesday 1 June 2021 Albany
Our journey today is along the Albany Highway from Fremantle to Albany,
on the shores of the Southern Ocean. Albany is the oldest European
settlement in Western Australia and was a major whaling station. Upon
arrival you will have the chance to explore the main town of Albany.
DAY 8 Wednesday 2 June 2021 Albany
This morning we will have a tour of historic Albany including the Mt
Clarence Desert Corp Memorial and Padre White Lookout, for amazing
views of Albany. We will visit the National ANZAC Centre, which honours
the ANZACS of the First World War. It overlooks the actual harbour from
which over 41,000 men and women departed Australia for the First World
War. We’ll also view the impressive granite formations of The Gap and
Natural Bridge in Torndirrup National Park.
DAY 9 Thursday 3 June 2021 Pemberton
We depart Albany for Pemberton and travel through the Valley of the
Giants, where karri and jarrah trees tower majestically over the countryside
and red tingle trees can have a base circumference of 16m. We’ll take the
tree-top walk through the canopy of the trees, 40m above the forest floor.
We will see the enormous Gloucester Tree towering 72m above the ground.
Used as a fire lookout tree, it has a cabin built 58m up the tree, accessed
by 153 spikes that spiral the trunk. We continue to our hotel in Pemberton.
DAY 10 Friday 4 June 2021 Margaret River
Today we travel to Augusta and then Cape Leeuwin, where the Southern
and Indian Oceans meet. We then visit Boranup Forest with its views of
the prettiest karri forest in Western Australia. We arrive at Margaret River
late afternoon, where we will stay for two nights.
DAY 11 Saturday 5 June 2021 Margaret River
This morning we visit the beautifully designed Secret Garden. This is a
very special, privately owned garden that is meticulously kept. It features
wisteria, clematis, iris and crab-apples. We continue on for a special The
Senior Farewell Lunch at Cullen Wines. The restaurant enjoys a stellar
reputation and much of the food comes from the biodynamic vegetable
gardens at Cullen Estate. After lunch you may wish to stroll through the
garden and follow the fascinating biodynamic process that is employed
throughout the winery and the gardens at Cullen. We will finish the day
with a wine tasting before returning to our hotel.
DAY 12 Sunday 6 June 2021 Depart
Heading back to Perth we first stop at Busselton, to see the largest
wooden jetty in the Southern Hemisphere, and then continue to Bunbury,
Western Australia’s second largest city. If we’re lucky we will get a glimpse
of the dolphins along the coastline. On arrival at Perth airport we’ll catch
our return flights home.

International touring can involve a considerable amount of walking and stair climbing in the places visited and it is important that all tour participants have a level of physical fitness that allows them to take part in this activity without the need of assistance from others.
TOUR OPERATOR:
Travelrite International Pty Ltd (ABN64 005
817 078) is the tour organiser. The Indian Pacific is operated by
Journey Beyond and the train arrangements are subject to the
terms and conditions and general information detailed in the
Indian Pacific brochure 2021. All passengers must complete
and sign the Travelrite International booking form and agree to
the Indian Pacific terms and conditions.
TOUR COSTS:
The tour costs are based on train, general transport
and accommodation costs at 1 October 2020. Travelrite
International reserves the right to alter the costs if any of
these factors change, giving any passenger that has booked
the right to withdraw with full refund of monies paid or modify
arrangements. No alterations to price will be made within 60
days of departure from Australia.
DEPOSIT AND PAYMENT:
A deposit of $500 per passenger
should be sent with a completed Travelrite International
booking form. The deposit is fully refundable up to 60 days
prior to departure. As soon as the booking is confirmed, (usually
within 24 hours), a tour confirmation advice will be emailed to
the client. The confirmation advice will contain all details. Final
payments are due to be paid to Travelrite International 60 days
prior to the commencement of the tour. A 1.5% administration
fee will be added to payments by credit card.
CANCELLATION CHARGES: * Cancellation conditions don’t apply for clients with future cruise/tour credits. Cruise/tour credits are non-refundable.

TRAVEL INSURANCE:
Travel insurance is recommended to cover the costs

REFUNDS:
The tour is based on arrangements that do not allow for any
refunds in respect to sightseeing, accommodation, meals, airfare or other
services not utilized after the tour has commenced.
MINIMUM TOUR NUMBERS:
The tour arrangements have
been made on the basis of a minimum number of passengers
travelling. In the event that less than the required number of
passengers have confirmed their booking 60 days from the
date of departure, Travelrite International reserves the right
to cancel the tour, giving a full refund of monies paid, or offer
arrangements to proceed with the tour at a modified fare.
BAGGAGE:
There is limited baggage storage available in cabin
on the Indian Pacific. Day bags should be packed for your cabin
and suitcases stored in the baggage compartment. Full details
will be provided prior to departure.
TOUR PARTICIPATION:
Children under 5 years of age are ineligible on coach & cruise tours. Children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Passengers with disabilities are welcome on Travelrite & Cruise Offers tours provided they are accompanied by a companion capable of providing all necessary assistance, and do not require special assistance from Travelrite & Cruise Offers personnel. Travelrite and Cruise Offers reserves the right to refuse to carry anyone if it is felt the individual cannot cope with the requirements of coach & cruise tour travel and who may require services and facilities that Travelrite & Cruise Offers cannot guarantee will be available. You agree to not hold the Travelrite & Cruise Offers responsible for any decision made by any of them or any service provider to refuse to carry you, provide any facilities or accommodation to you or to provide any service to you.

agents, officers, affiliates,and/ or suppliers of services pursuant
to, or in connection with these tours, shall act only as agents
in making arrangements for hotels, transportation, including
transportation by train, restaurants, or any other service and
do not assume any liability whatsoever for any injury, damage,
death, loss, accident or delay to person or property due to an
act of negligence or a default of any hotel, carrier restaurant
company or person rendering any services included in tours,
or by act of God. Further, no responsibilities are accepted for
any damage or delay due to sickness, pilferage, labour disputes,
machinery breakdown, quarantine, government restraints,
weather, terrorism or other causes beyond their control. No
responsibility is accepted for any additional expense, omission,
delays, re-routing or acts of any government authority. Baggage
is at owners’ risk throughout the fly/cruise. The passage contract
between the carriers concerned, when issued, shall constitute
the sole contract between the carriers and the purchasers
of this tour and/or the passengers. The right is reserved to
withdraw any tour and/or make such changes in the tour as
may be found desirable or necessary for the convenience of the
parties and the proper carrying out of the tours. This contract
shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the State of
Victoria, Australia and any legal action must be undertaken in
the State of Victoria. Attention is also directed to the terms and
conditions of the Indian Pacific passage contract with Journeys
Beyond, detailed on the Indian Pacific website. If you do not

and we will send one to you.
DELAYS AND UNFORESEEN EVENTS:
You engage Travelrite
to book this tour on your behalf and you acknowledge that
Travelrite acts as your agent for the purpose of making contracts
between you and the various providers of accommodation,
transportation and other services that comprise the tour.
Travelrite may without reference to you provide or make
available to you, or may as your agent engage any third party
to provide or make available to you, any good or service which
Travelrite reasonably believes is necessary for your benefit
to maintain the tour itinerary, repatriate you or otherwise
accommodate, transport or sustain you in circumstances in
which the tour itinerary fails wholly or partly for any reason.
You appoint Travelrite your attorney for this purpose. You agree
to pay Travelrite any cost thereof and you indemnify Travelrite
in respect of any cost it incurs in this regard. Travelrite advises
you to obtain travel insurance generally including in respect of
the risk that any such good or service may become required.
