If you play ukulele, please bring your ukulele with you. We will try to organise a space (a suitable location) on the ship where our ukulele players can gather for informal jam sessions.
You will need casual shipboard attire for day wear and evening wear. For casual nights on board gentlemen will need a sports shirt and slacks and equivalent for ladies. Informal nights require a jacket and tie for gentlemen and equivalent for ladies. For evenings, on formal nights, a dinner suit or dark suit for gentlemen and evening wear for ladies is recommended (the dinner suit or dark suit for gentlemen is not compulsory). The self-service restaurants are casual.
We normally have about a third of people on the cruise travelling alone. We will match people in twin-share cabins when available, saving you the single supplement. You won’t be left alone; the Travelrite tour managers will be looking after you. There will be group activities every day and most evenings.

Wayne Horsburgh is one of Australia’s most successful country music entertainers. Influenced by Slim Whitman and Frank Ifield, his style of yodelling is a real crowd pleaser. Originally from Benalla, Wayne moved to Sydney in 1979 to expand his music career and also tour the world. For 25 years Wayne spent part of each year in the USA, sharing stages at Festivals and Fairs with some of country music’s biggest stars, including Merle Haggard, The Statler Brothers, and Mickey Gilley. Wayne has released 34 albums, including 2 albums of Hawaiian songs. Wayne is looking forward to sharing his passion for Hawaii, and Hawaiian music, with you on the 2023 Hawaii Music Cruise.
John, along with his twin brother, Graeme, is part of The Howie Brothers, one of Australia’s leading country music / easy listening acts. John plays several instruments and is a keen songwriter. He has been organising and leading world-wide music tours & music cruises for over 20 years.
Gill Delaney (accordion/ukulele/mouth organ player from Wangaratta) has played in dance bands most of her life, and knows a million tunes! She will be coming on the tour as a musician and assistant tour manager, as long as we get sufficient bookings.
