Today we will meet in Adelaide and have a welcome dinner
DAY 2 Sunday 1 May 2022 Adelaide
Play Victor Harbor, South Australia Today we will travel east near to where the Murray reaches the ocean. Our game of golf is at The Victor Harbor Golf Club, established in 1911 and one of the most scenic golf clubs in South Australia. This championship course on the Fleurieu Peninsula has panoramic coastal and hinterland views and is a haven for native birds and animals. The tee shot on the first hole is one of the most exhilarating in golf looking over Encounter Bay and the Great Southern Ocean.
DAY 3 Monday 2 May 2022 Adelaide
Play Royal Adelaide, South Australia Today we will play one of Australia’s best golf courses Royal Adelaide. The Royal Adelaide club is one of six Australian golf courses ranked in the World’s Top 100 and has played host to nine Australian Open’s. It’s a majestic golfing experience, especially when sea breezes whip through the cypress pines bordering the course.
DAY 4 Tuesday 3 May 2022 Mildura
After a leisurely breakfast we say goodbye to Adelaide and travel north to Mildura in Victoria. On arrival in Mildura we will have a short panoramic tour before checking into the hotel. The afternoon is free for individual exploration.
DAY 5 Wednesday 4 May 2022 Mildura
Play Mildura Golf Resort, Victoria Today we will play Mildura Golf Resort a championship layout 6014 metres in length. It is rated as one of the Murray Rivers most challenging and enjoyable golf rounds. The course is laid out on red sand with well contoured undulating fairways, advanced native growth bordering the rough and spectacular water hazards. Mildura Golf Resort presents itself immaculately to the golfer all year round.
DAY 6 Thursday 5 May 2022 Mildura
Play Coomealla Golf Club, New South Wales Today we will take a twenty minute drive to play Coomealla Golf Club in New South Wales. Coomealla is one of the hidden gems of Australian golf, nestled on the banks of the Murray River. Wildlife abounds and although relatively flat the excellent bunkering and trees provide an interesting challenge for even the most talented golfers.
DAY 7 Friday 6 May 2022 Echuca
After breakfast in Mildura we will travel back in time as we make our way to Echuca and visit Swan Hill and the nearby Pioneer Settlement. Set on three hectares (7.4 acres) on the banks of the Little Murray River, the Pioneer Settlement tells the history of the Murray River with horse-drawn vehicles, blacksmiths, print shops and staff dressed the part in costumes of the period. From Swan Hill we continue our road trip to our home for the next two nights PS Emmylou. Paddle steamer Emmylou is the world’s only wood fired cruising Paddle steamer and offers alfresco dining and plenty of space to relax and enjoy the river views. Each luxury cabin with ensuite is individually air-conditioned. Our accommodation for the next two nights allows us to delve further into the beauty and pioneering history of the Murray River. After we settle into our cabin we will depart Echuca downriver and enjoy a welcome afternoon tea followed by an included dinner. Tonight, we moor at the famous Perricoota Station. Rich in history, the property was first settled by James Maiden in 1843, and famous for starring in the TV movie “All the River Run” where PS Emmylou was renamed PS Providence.
DAY 8 Saturday 7 May 2022 Echuca
Play Rich River East, New South Wales
Wake to an early morning walk along the riverbank, home to native birds, plants and wildlife before enjoying breakfast. This morning golfers depart for their 1st 18 holes of golf at Rich River Golf Club with non-golfers departing on a half day excursion travelling 30 minutes to the small town of Barmah. Here you depart on your guided Eco Cruise, where you can get up close to Australian nature and wildlife. Nowhere else in the world can you experience such timeless, natural beauty and peace as when you are gliding through the World Heritage listed Barmah Wetlands aboard the MV Kingfisher. We then enjoy a traditional Australian picnic lunch riverside before we continue the region’s largest winery, St Anne’s where you will enjoy a short winery tour provided by the owners and then taste their fabulous table and fortified wines. It is then time for golfers and non golfers to re-join PS Emmylou. Time to relax in the afternoon sun as Emmylou continues cruising now back upstream. Tonight, it is time to dress up a little and enjoy a traditional 3 course Dinner with all the trimmings. Enjoy complimentary wines and beers. After dinner, it’s Movie Night, with a special presentation of ‘Riverboats Remembered’ a fabulous historical presentation about the riverboats of the mid 1850’s along the Murray River. You are then welcome to join your fellow passengers around the roaring campfire to watch the stars appear in the stunning night sky before retiring for the evening. Overnight at Layfield Lane.
DAY 9 Sunday 8 May 2022
Play Rich River West, New South Wales
After breakfast Golfer’s depart for their 2nd 18 holes at Rich River Golf Club whilst non golfers have free time to explore Echuca High Street shopping before boarding PS Canberra for their Wharf to Winery Lunch experience at Morrisons Riverview Winery & Restaurant at 11.30am. After 18 holes at the Club golfer’s can join the group at Morrisons Winery for a relaxing drink and tastings before transferring back to the Port of Echuca where we reluctantly say farewell. After golf at Rich River we will take the short trip to Yarrawonga to stay at the Sebel Silverwoods on the banks of Lake Mulwala.
DAY 10 Monday 9 May 2022 Yarrawonga
Play Murray Course, Yarrawonga
Mulwala Golf Resort, New South Wales Today we take a five minute drive to play golf in New South Wales. The Murray course is an impressive course with majestic River Red Gums bordering every hole. The long fifth is one of the most iconic holes in Australian golf, bordered on the left by the mighty Murray. The course designed by Peter Thomson is perhaps one of his finest designs. After golf we will enjoy a farewell meal.
DAY 11 Tuesday 10 May 2022 Departure
Day Play Black Bull, Victoria Today we will play The Black Bull a short walk from our accommodation at Sebel Silverwoods Resort. The course is another superb Thomson design and lies in part on Lake Mulwala. The highlight of the course is a three hole stretch from 15 to 17, which according to the Border Mail rivals “Augusta’s Amen Corner”. After golf we will return our clubs and cases to our luxury coach and make our way to Melbourne city or airport, where we will arrive in the late afternoon and the tour will conclude.

Touring can involve a considerable amount of walking and stair climbing in the places visited and it is important that all tour participants have a level of physical fitness that allows them to take part in this activity without the need of assistance from others.
Golf Courses and Tee Times Golf bookings have been made for all the courses and tee times are confirmed.
Deposit and Payment: A refundable deposit of $500.00 per person is required at the time of booking. The final balance is due within 60 days of departure. Cancellation by you within 60 days of departure will result in the loss of all monies paid. The tour is based on arrangements which do NOT allow for refunds for any services not utilised, once the Tour has commenced.
Maximum Handicaps: Australian golf courses require a handicap and you should bring your current handicap certificate with you if you have one.
Minimum Tour Numbers: The Tour has been based on a minimum of 8 passengers, (including Robert). If less than this minimum has booked 60 days prior to departure, Travelrite reserves the right to cancel the Tour, giving a prompt refund of all monies paid, or to offer arrangements to proceed at a modified cost.
Upgrades or any other travel: For any additional arrangements contact Travelrite International Travel Insurance: Adequate travel insurance is strongly recommended; insure your clubs to the maximum.
Responsibilities: Travelrite International acts only as agents in making arrangements with carriers, hoteliers and others for the Tour. As a result we cannot accept liability for any act or omission whatsoever, whether negligent or otherwise of those carriers, hoteliers or other persons providing services in connection with the tour over whom we have no direct or exclusive control. We do not accept responsibility for any injury, damage, loss, delay, change of schedule or any other events which are beyond our direct control, such as, but not limited to, war, flood, fire, civil disturbance, terrorism, acts of God, acts of Government or any other authorities, accidents to or failure of machinery or equipment, or industrial action. The passage contract in use by the carriers concerned, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between the transportation companies or firms and the purchasers of these tours and the passengers. Children under 5 years of age are ineligible on coach & cruise tours. Children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Passengers with disabilities are welcome on Travelrite & Cruise Offers tours provided they are accompanied by a companion capable of providing all necessary assistance, and do not require special assistance from Travelrite & Cruise Offers personnel. Travelrite and Cruise Offers reserves the right to refuse to carry anyone if it is felt the individual cannot cope with the requirements of coach & cruise tour travel and who may require services and facilities that Travelrite & Cruise Offers cannot guarantee will be available. You agree to not hold the Travelrite & Cruise Offers responsible for any decision made by any of them or any service provider to refuse to carry you, provide any facilities or accommodation to you or to provide any service to you.
