Tonight we enjoy a welcome dinner.
DAY 2 Saturday 13 January 2024 Singapore
Today we play the Laguna National Masters. Affectionately dubbed ‘The Grand
Old Lady’, the Masters Course is a much-loved treasure that has stood the test
of time. For the best part of three decades, the Andy Dye-sculpted layout has
been lauded for its fast and true Bermuda grass greens, towering raintrees and
beautiful lakes. In the best traditions of parkland-style courses, the Masters
demands accurate approach shots and astute course management - attributes
that have contributed to it winning multiple awards and widespread plaudits
from professionals and amateurs alike.

locally as ‘The Beast’, due to its formidable challenge, the Classic unfolds over
hilly terrain that is unparalleled in golf in Singapore. Visually stimulating and
refreshingly bold in its presentation, the Classic challenges every element of
your game. Featuring more than 146 bunkers, undulating putting surfaces and
five water features, the course can play to less than 5,000 yards for juniors yet
stretch to 7,471 yards for the pros.

We see the landmark red-brick Notre Dame Cathedral, the Central Post Office, with its iron and glass ceiling, designed in 1891 by Gustave Eiffel, the Ben Thanh market and the Hotel de Ville, a town hall lifted straight out of the French provinces. The North Vietnamese came crashing through these gates and ended the South Vietnamese regime.
DAY 11 Monday 22 January 2024 Nha Trang, Vietnam
Today is a day for tourism. Nha Trang has a split personality. One takes the form of a smaller Danang – a bustling Vietnamese city humming with commerce but blessed with access to a beautiful beach. The other is a Western resort town encompassing several blocks of hotels, tourist shops, bars and international restaurants. The city is indisputably beautiful, bordered by mountains, with the beach tracing an impressive long swoop along a bay dotted with islands. Topiary and modern sculpture punctuate the immaculately manicured foreshore. Nha Trang offers plenty to keep you dazzled – from island-hopping boat trips and scuba diving, to mud baths and historic sites.
DAY 12 Tuesday 23 January 2024 Hue/Danang (Chan May),
Vietnam
With a limited time in port we are managing to fit in 9 holes at the superb

port city.
