DAY 1 Wednesday 7 September, 2022 Mt Tamborine
Tour members will travel to the Gold Coast this morning. The coach will be ready for departure from the Gold Coast Airport at 1.00pm. We drive to the gorgeous Mt Tamborine Botanic Gardens. They have a beautiful lake as a centre piece, a tranquil Japanese garden and a lush tropical rainforest. This evening we enjoy an included Welcome Dinner.
DAY 2 Thursday 8 September, 2022 Mt Tamborine
Today we will have a free morning to explore the village of Mt Tamborine. In the afternoon we enjoy a visit to the Mt Tamborine Glow Worm Caves. We will hear about the life cycle of the worms and as we enter the cave we see glow worms illuminating the cave with a gorgeous light like the night sky.
DAY 3 Friday 9 September, 2022 Mt Tamborine
This morning we visit Bamboo Down Under, a specialist nursery. We will stroll through the bamboo forest walk, explore the meditation garden and get bamboozled in the bamboo maze. In the afternoon we visit Pretty Produce, where vibrant, fresh edible flowers and unique leaf mixes are grown for sale. Group members are able to buy dried flowers and floral teas.
DAY 4 Saturday 10 September, 2022 Noosa
This morning we travel north to Eudlo Cycad Gardens. Its main feature is the cycads of Africa set in six acres of landscaped rockeries. We continue our journey to Noosa.
DAY 5 Sunday 11 September, 2022 Noosa
This morning we travel to Buderim to visit the Edna Walling Memorial Garden, which includes her signature stone walls, steps, ponds, arbours and gravel paths, We continue with a visit to Buderim Pioneer Cottage built in 1882. The stunning cottage garden provides surprises around every corner. In the afternoon we visit a gorgeous private garden, where the owners have been able to make the most of the mild moist climate.
DAY 6 Monday 12 September, 2022 Hervey Bay/Fraser Island
This morning we will visit the Noosa Botanic Gardens situated on the shore of Lake MacDonald. We will enjoy a walk along winding paths through the dappled light of a rain forest, also a visit to the fern house which contains orchids, bromeliads and caladiums before travelling north to Hervey Bay, and gateway to Fraser Island.
DAY 7 Tuesday 13 September, 2022 Hervey Bay/Fraser Island
Today we enjoy a sightseeing tour of Fraser Island, a spectacular, unspoiled paradise of sweeping beaches, breathtaking rainforests, natural lakes and wonderful scenery that justifies the World Heritage Listing. Stretching over 123 kilometres, and at 184 000 hectares, it is the largest sand island in the world.
DAY 8 Wednesday 14 September, 2022 Toowoomba
This morning we travel through the small town of Kilkivan, where gold was first discovered in Queensland in 1852, we continue to Ravensbourne National Park, home to towering red cedars and rain forest. On arrival in Toowoomba we enjoy an afternoon sightseeing tour, including a visit to Queens Park Botanic Gardens, which first opened in the 1800’s. We will see the flower displays for the Carnival of Flowers, Toowoomba’s premier gardening event.
DAY 9 Thursday 15 September, 2022 Toowoomba
This morning we will visit the outstanding Cobb & Co Museum, where we will see Australia’s finest collection of horse-drawn vehicles and pay tribute to Steele Rudd, the locally-born author who created Dad and Dave. In the afternoon we visit the beautiful , serene Japanese gardens.
DAY 10 Friday 16 September, 2022 Toowoomba
Today we will visit some of the gorgeous gardens, which are open as part of the Carnival of Flowers.
DAY 11 Saturday 17 September, 2022 Toowoomba
This morning we will enjoy a highlight of the Carnival of Flowers, the street parade bursting with colour. Street performers will escort the stunning floral floats through the heart of the city. In the afternoon we will visit another gorgeous private garden. This evening we will come together for a Farewell Dinner to formally say farewell to our host Sue McDougall and other tour members.
DAY 12 Sunday 18 September, 2022 Departure
This morning after breakfast, we are transferred to the Wellcamp Airport for flights back home.

Touring can involve a considerable amount of walking and stair climbing in the places visited and it is important that all tour participants have a level of physical fitness that allows them to take part in this activity without the assistance from others.

Deposit and Payment: A deposit of $500 per passenger for is required at the time of booking. Full payment will be required 60 days before departure for the Queensland Garden Tour and for the Garden Exploration of NSW and Canberra. Cancellation over 60 days before tour departs the deposit is refundable. Cancellation under 60 days before tour departs will result in a loss of all monies paid. Payment may be made by cheque or cash a 1.5% administration fee will be charged on payments made by credit cards.
Tour Costs: The tour costs are based on general transport, entry, and accommodation costs. Travelrite reserves the right to alter the costs if any of these factors change, giving any passenger that has booked the right to withdraw with full refund of monies paid or modify arrangements. No alterations to price will be made within 90 days of departure from Australia.
The tour is based on arrangements that do not allow for any refunds in respect to sightseeing, accommodation, meals, airfare or other services not utilized after the tour has commenced.
Baggage: Due to coach restrictions, tour members can only bring one large suitcase
Travel Insurance: Adequate travel insurance is highly recommended to cover cruise members for the consequences of unforeseen events during the cruise and for cancellation fees which could result from events such as illness, accident, death etc.

Travelrite and Cruise Offers reserves the right to refuse to carry anyone if it is felt the individual cannot cope with the requirements of coach & cruise tour travel and who may require services and facilities that Travelrite & Cruise Offers cannot guarantee will be available. You agree to not hold the Travelrite & Cruise Offers responsible for any decision made by any of them or any service provider to refuse to carry you, provide any facilities or accommodation to you or to provide any service to you.

You engage Travelrite International to book this tour on your behalf and you acknowledge that Travelrite International acts as your agent for the purpose of making contracts between you and the various providers of accommodation, transportation and other services that comprise the tour. Travelrite International may without reference to you provide or make available to you, or may as your agent engage any third party to provide or make available to you, any good or service which Travelrite International reasonably believes is necessary for your benefit to maintain the tour itinerary, repatriate you or otherwise accommodate, transport or sustain you in circumstances in which the tour itinerary fails wholly or partly for any reason. You appoint Travelrite International your attorney for this purpose. You agree to pay Travelrite International any cost thereof and you indemnify Travelrite International in respect of any cost it incurs in this regard.
