Today we board our overnight flight to Barcelona.
DAY 2 Wednesday September 21, 2022 Barcelona, Spain
This morning, we arrive in Barcelona and enjoy a sightseeing tour of the city.
Capital of Catalonia, Barcelona is the second largest city in Spain. We see the
Gothic Quarter, where we will see the historic cathedral and the medieval streets.
The modernist Eixample district is known for the architecture of Antoni Gaudi. We
see some examples of his work, including the famous Sagrada Familia. We then
transfer to our hotel.
DAY 3 Thursday September 22, 2022 Barcelona
Today we travel into the mountains above Barcelona to the historic monastery
of Montserrat that was founded in 1025 and according to legend was the resting
place of the Holy Grail. We will see the famous Black Madonna of Montserrat and
admire the amazing views before we return to Barcelona where the rest of the
afternoon is free.
DAY 4 Friday September 23, 2022 Barcelona
Today we travel to the town of Figueres north of Barcelona. We visit the Salvadore
Dali Museum in the town which contains as its core the personal collection of
Salvadore Dali. Constructed in a surrealist style a visit to museum is an experience.
After time to explore the town further we return to Barcelona.
DAY 5 Saturday September 24, 2022 Embarkation
This morning is free for sightseeing or shopping. In the afternoon we are
transferred to the port to board the Celebrity Beyond to start the cruise through
the Mediterranean Sea to Rome.
DAY 6 Sunday September 25, 2022 Aix-en-Provence, France
Today we arrive in Toulon, situated a little to the east of Marseilles. We board our
coach to travel to Aix-en-Provence, the old capital of Provence, for a sightseeing
tour. We will see the Old Town with its attractive 18th and 19th-century squares,
many of them with attractive fountains in their centre. A graceful city known for
its beautiful sandstone buildings. There will also be time to explore the many
interesting shops and cafés.
DAY 7 Monday September 26, 2022 Nice, France
We arrive this morning in the French Riviera city of Nice. We have a sightseeing
tour of this elegant city, including its flower market, before travelling to the
fairytale principality of Monaco. We will see the famous Monte Carlo Casino,
Grand Prix circuit and cathedral, where Princess Grace is buried.
DAY 8 Tuesday September 27, 2022 Portofino, Italy
This morning we arrive in Genoa and on our sightseeing tour today we travel to
the beautiful seaside town, Santa Margherita Ligure, a fashionable seaside resort
on the Portofino Peninsula. We then catch a ferry to the picturesque town of
Portofino, holiday destination to the rich and famous. There will be time to relax
and enjoy this fantastic coastal village.
DAY 9 Wednesday September 28, 2022 Florence, Italy
Today we visit the historic city of Florence, capital of Tuscany and home town of
Lorenzo the Magnificent and Michelangelo. We will join a local guide for a tour
through the city. We will see the Cathedral, with its enormous dome, the Baptistry,
Piazza della Signoria, the famous Ponte Vecchio and more. There will be some free
time for individual activity before returning to the ship.
DAY 10 Thursday September 29, 2022 Tuscany, Italy
This morning travel through the Tuscan countryside to the town of San
Gimignano, known as the City of Beautiful Towers, a classic walled hill-town in
Tuscany, famous for its medieval architecture and its 14 surviving towers, which
creates a beautiful skyline, visible from the surrounding countryside.
DAY 11 Friday September, 30, 2022 At sea
The morning will be free to explore the ship. This afternoon the Two Murrays will
give a talk about their lives in the media with a Q and A session.
DAY 12 Saturday October 1, 2022 Taormina, Sicily
Today we call into the island of Sicily. We travel to the famous resort of Taormina,
spectacularly located high on a 200 metre rocky outcrop, surveying Mt Etna. The
town, founded by the Greeks, has an ancient theatre that also overlooks Mt Etna.
Since the eighteenth century, Taormina has been a popular travel destination. We
will walk around the medieval centre and see the Terrace Piazza IX April, with its
views overlooking Mt Etna and the sea. We will visit Torre dell’Orologio, a restored
twelfth century clock tower and the famous ancient Greek theatre, founded in the
third century BC and rebuilt by the Romans at the end of the first century – it is
spectacularly sited with views of Mt Etna in the distance.
DAY 13 Sunday October 2, 2022 Pompeii/Sorrento, Italy
This morning we arrive in Naples, one of the most beautiful parts of Italy, the Bay
of Naples and Amalfi Coast. Our tour starts with a visit to the ancient, perfectly
preserved ruins of Pompeii. A wealthy settlement of the Roman Empire, it was
destroyed by the eruption of Vesuvius in 79AD. We will have a tour of the ruins
with a local guide to see the Forum, the House of the Vettii, a well-preserved
aristocratic villa, and much more. We then travel to Sorrento, where there will be
some free time to explore the town.
DAY 14 Monday October 3, 2022 Rome, Italy
This morning we disembark the ship and first visit the Papal Palace of Castel
Gandolfo, also known as the Apostolic Palace of Castel Gandolfo. The Popes
summer Palace it has been owned by the Vatican since 1596 when they seized it
from the Savelli family who were unable to pay their debts to the church. We will
see the Papal apartments, richly ornate in its furnishing and decor, and peruse the
papal portrait gallery, as well as view various pontifical artefacts. The Apostolic
Palace is a treasure trove of curiosities, including a papal throne, liturgical antiques
and vestments and the world famous pope-mobile. We see the spectacular Papal
gardens located on the edge of Lake Alba before travelling to Rome and checking
into our hotel.
DAY 15 Thursday October 4, 2022 Rome
Today we will enjoy a sightseeing tour of the ‘Eternal City’ of Rome. We will see
the Colosseum, the Pantheon, the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain, where
group members can throw a coin and make a wish to return to Rome one day. In
the afternoon we will check in to our hotel.
DAY 16 Friday October 5, 2022 Rome
This morning we will visit the famous Vatican Museum, the impressive collection
of ancient staues Renaissance Art and much more collected over centuries by
the Popes. We then continue to see the Sistine Chapel painted by Michelangelo
between 1508 and 1512, which is a high renaissance masterwork and the place
where new popes are elected. The rest of the day will be free.
DAY 17 Saturday October 6, 2022 Rome
Today we visit the Emperor Hadrian’s Villa at Tivoli outside of Rome. A UNESCO
World Heritage Site of a large villa complex built around AD 120 by the Roman
Emperor Hadrian it will give us insight to the Roman Empire. Tonight we have an
included farewell dinner to celebrate the end of our cruise.

This morning we are transferred to the airport for our flight back to Australia.

International touring can involve a considerable amount of walking and stair climbing in the places visited and it is important that all tour participants have a level of physical fitness that allows them to take part in this activity without the need of assistance from others.

is the tour organiser. Celebrity Beyond is operated by Celebrity Cruises
and the fly, cruise and tour arrangements are subject to the terms and
conditions and general information detailed in the Celebrity Cruises
brochure. All passengers must complete the Celebrity Cruises online
check-in on www.celebrity.com as well as a Travelrite International
booking form.
DEPOSIT AND PAYMENT:
A deposit of $1000 per passenger should
be sent with a booking form that lists your requested cabin category.
As soon as the booking is confirmed (usually within 24 hours) a cruise
confirmation advice will be posted to the client. Final payments are due
to be paid to Travelrite International 90 days prior to the commencement
of the fly, tour and cruise holiday. A 1.5% administration fee will be
added to all payments made by credit card. If fares and air taxes change
due to government and airport regulations and currency fluctuations
Travelrite International reserves the right to charge additional amounts.
Cancellation Charges: * Cancellation conditions don’t apply for clients with future cruise/tour credits. Cruise/tour credits are non-refundable.

REFUNDS:
The cruise is based on arrangements that do not allow for
any refunds in respect to accommodation, meals or other services
not utilised after the tour has commenced.
TRAVEL DOCUMENTS:
All
passengers will require a valid pass-port. If not an Australian passport
holder, check with Travelrite International for visa requirements.
TRAVEL INSURANCE:
Travel insurance is recommended to cover the costs of cancellation fees due to illness, death in family, etc.
MINIMUM TOUR NUMBERS:
The cruise arrangements have been made
on the basis of a minimum number of passengers travelling. In the event
that less than the required number of passengers have confirmed their
booking 90 days from the date of departure, Travelrite International
reserves the right to cancel the tour, giving a full refund of monies paid,
or offer arrangements to proceed with the tour at a modified fare.
TOUR PARTICIPATION:
Children under 5 years of age are ineligible on coach & cruise tours. Children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Passengers with disabilities are welcome on Travelrite & Cruise Offers tours provided they are accompanied by a companion capable of providing all necessary assistance, and do not require special assistance from Travelrite & Cruise Offers personnel. Travelrite and Cruise Offers reserves the right to refuse to carry anyone if it is felt the individual cannot cope with the requirements of coach & cruise tour travel and who may require services and facilities that Travelrite & Cruise Offers cannot guarantee will be available. You agree to not hold the Travelrite & Cruise Offers responsible for any decision made by any of them or any service provider to refuse to carry you, provide any facilities or accommodation to you or to provide any service to you.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Travelrite International Pty Ltd is the tour organiser.
Travelrite International Pty Ltd, it’s agents, officers, affiliates, and/or
suppliers of services pursuant to or in connection with these fly/cruise/
stay holidays shall act only as agents in making arrangements for hotels,
transportation including trans-portation by ship, restaurants, or any
other service and do not assume any liability whatsoever for any injury,
damage, death, loss, accident or delay to person or property due to an
act of negligence or a default of any hotel, carrier restaurant company
or person rendering any services included in fly/cruises, or by act of
God. Further no responsibilities are accepted for any damage or delay
due to sickness, pilferage, labour disputes, machinery break-down,
quarantine, government restraints, weather, terrorism or other causes
beyond their control. No responsibility is accepted for any additional
expense, omission, delays, re-routing or acts of any government
authority. Baggage is at owners risk throughout the fly/cruise/stay
holiday. The passage contract between the carriers concerned when
issued shall constitute the sole contract between the carriers and the
purchasers of these fly/cruise/stay holidays and/or the passengers. The
right is reserved to withdraw any fly/cruise/stay holiday and/or make
such changes in the fly/ cruise/stay holidays as may be found desirable
or necessary for the convenience of the parties and the proper carrying
out of the fly/cruises. This contract shall be construed in accordance
of the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia and any legal action must
be undertaken in the State of Victoria. Attention is also directed to the
terms and conditions of Princess Cruises passage contract, detailed on
Princess Cruises website.
DELAYS AND UNFORESEEN EVENTS:
You engage Travelrite to book
this tour on your behalf and you acknowledge that Travelrite acts
as your agent for the purpose of making contracts between you and
the various providers of accommodation, transportation and other
services that comprise the tour. Travelrite may without reference to you
provide or make available to you, or may as your agent engage any third
party to provide or make available to you, any good or service which
Travelrite reasonably believes is necessary for your benefit to maintain
the tour itinerary, repatriate you or otherwise accommodate, transport
or sustain you in circumstances in which the tour itinerary fails wholly
or partly for any reason. You appoint Travelrite your attorney for this
purpose. You agree to pay Travelrite any cost thereof and you indemnify
Travelrite in respect of any cost it incurs in this regard. Travelrite advises
you to obtain travel insurance generally including in respect of the risk
that any such good or service may become required.
TRAVEL VACCINATION POLICY::
The wellbeing of our guests is our
top priority. All guests booked to travel internationally with Travelrite
International are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19,
which may include a booster shot to keep it current and valid.
