



The cruise is fully escorted and is a fun holiday with plenty of activities. You will meet a fun group of people and have a fabulous time!
During the day casual clothing is typical, although shorts and swimwear are not permitted in the formal restaurants. There are some nights at sea classified as formal for dress purposes. Nights in port are classified as informal. During the evening on formal nights, a dinner suit or dark suit for gentlemen and eveningwear for ladies is required for the main restaurants. Smart casual attire is required in the public lounges and restaurants.
About a third of people on the cruise travel alone. We will match people in twin-share cabins when available, saving you the single supplement. There will be group activities most days. Each evening you will dine with the group at our reserved tables.

A successful author with twenty books to his credit, Jim has been the resident Australiana expert on Macquarie Radio's top rating weekend show for twenty years, currently with Chris Smith. Having spent the first twenty years of his working life as a teacher and academic, Jim started recording with a band he created in the late 1970s called Bandy Bill & Co and became a professional entertainer in 1988. With 30 years involvement in the entertainment industry as an entertainer, recording artist, songwriter and producer, Jim toured extensively and has recorded over twenty albums with Festival, EMI, ABC Music, Sony and his own label, Singabout Australia. His comedy hit songs include 'Since Cheryl Went Feral' and 'Don’t Call Wagga Wagga Wagga'. The son of British migrants, Jim attended Sydney Boys’ High and Sydney Teachers’ College, taught in schools and universities in NSW and Britain and has two masters’ degrees in literature. He was on the board of the Country Music Association of Australia for fifteen years, was given Life Membership of the CMAA in 2015 and still performs as an entertainer and speaker, sharing his passion for all things Australian. National Party Past President, Helen Dickey, once said, ‘Jim Haynes is simply the best Australian comic entertainer we have.” Jim was awarded the Order of Australia Medal in the Australia Day Honour's List in 2016, 'for service to the performing arts as an entertainer, author, broadcaster and historian'.
VIEW ITINERARYDAY 1 Friday 25 November 2022 Perth
The tour commences at Perth Airport. Please meet in the arrivals area at
1:00pm. We will be met by our private coach for a panoramic city tour of the
sights of Perth, including the Governor’s Residence, Parliament House and
Perth University. We then check into our hotel.. This evening enjoy a Welcome
Dinner to meet the tour members and get to know your host Jim Haynes.
DAY 2 Saturday 26 November 2022 Albany
Our journey today is along the Albany Highway from Perth to Albany. Albany is
the oldest European settlement in Western Australia and was a major whaling
station. Upon arrival we check into our hotel. You will have the chance to
explore the main town of Albany.
DAY 3 Sunday 27 November 2022 Albany
This morning we will have a tour of historic Albany including the Mt Clarence
Desert Corp Memorial and Padre White Lookout, for amazing views of Albany.
We will visit the National ANZAC Centre, which honours the ANZACS of the
First World War. It overlooks the actual harbour from which over 41,000 men
and women departed Australia for the First World War. We’ll also view the
impressive granite formations of The Gap and Natural Bridge in Torndirrup
National Park. We also visit the whaling museum which details the history of
the industry once so important to the area.
DAY 4 Monday 28 November 2022 Pemberton
We depart Albany for Pemberton and travel through the Valley of the Giants,
where karri and jarrah trees tower majestically over the countryside and red
tingle trees can have a base circumference of 16m. We’ll take the tree-top
walk through the canopy of the trees, 40m above the forest floor. We will see
the enormous Gloucester Tree towering 72m above the ground. Used as a fire
lookout tree, it has a cabin built 58m up the tree, accessed by 153 spikes that
spiral the trunk. We continue to our hotel in Pemberton.
DAY 5 Tuesday 29 November 2022 Margaret River
Today we travel to Augusta and then Cape Leeuwin, where the Southern
and Indian Oceans meet. We then visit Boranup Forest with its views of the
prettiest karri forest in Western Australia. We arrive at Margaret River late
afternoon, where we will stay for two nights.
DAY 6 Wednesday 30 November 2022 Margaret River
This morning we visit the beautifully designed Secret Garden. This is a very
special, privately owned garden that is meticulously kept. It features wisteria,
clematis, iris and crab-apples. We continue on for a special lunch at Cullen
Wines. The restaurant enjoys a stellar reputation and much of the food comes
from the biodynamic vegetable gardens at Cullen Estate. After lunch you
may wish to stroll through the garden and follow the fascinating biodynamic
process that is employed throughout the winery and the gardens at Cullen. We
will finish the day with a wine tasting before returning to our hotel.
DAY 7 Thursday 1 December 2022 Fremantle
Heading back to Perth we first stop at Busselton, to see the largest wooden
jetty in the Southern Hemisphere, and then continue to Bunbury, Western
Australia’s second largest city. If we’re lucky we will get a glimpse of the
dolphins along the coastline. On arrival into Fremantle we check into our hotel.
DAY 8 Friday 2 December, 2022 Embarkation
This morning we will learn about the pioneering history of Western Australia
during a sightseeing tour of Fremantle. We visit the Fremantle Prison, built in
the 1850s by convicts; it was used as a place of incarceration and punishment
for nearly 140 years. We then visit the WA Shipwreck Museum that details
many of the shipwrecks that have been recovered throughout the state,
including the Dutch ship Batavia. Early afternoon we are transferred to the
port in Fremantle where we embark the Queen Elizabeth.
DAY 9 Saturday 3 December, 2022 Day at sea

This morning we arrive in the small town of Esperance, where ‘the golden outback meets the Southern Ocean. On our tour today, we will see some of the spectacular beaches of pure white sand and turquoise sea. We will take a short beach walk at Twilight Bay. We see some of the amazing outback landscapes in the area as well and there will be some free time to explore the town.

DAY 13 Wednesday 7 December, 2022 Adelaide
This morning we visit Adelaide the “City of Churches”, so called due to its 529 exquisite, architecturally designed churches, with the Holy Trinity Anglican Church being the oldest, dating from 1838. Following our city tour we visit Hahndorf “Australia’s Oldest German Town”, settled in 1839 by Lutherans
fleeing religious persecution in Prussia. Hahndorf was named after the ship’s captain Hahn, whilst dorf is German for village. We then visit The Cedars, the house and studio of renowned artist Hans Heyson. Some 200 original works of art can be seen in Australia’s oldest studio that can be visited.
DAY 14 Thursday 8 December, 2022 Kangaroo Island
This morning we arrive at Penneshaw on spectacular Kangaroo Island. We have a comprehensive sightseeing tour of the island. We see the spectacular Remarkable Rocks that overlook the ocean and are a photographers dream and then the seal colony at Seal Bay.
DAY 15 Friday 9 December, 2022 Day at sea

DAY 16 Saturday 10 December, 2022 Melbourne
This morning we arrive in Melbourne. We begin today with a tour of the famous MCG and Sports Museum. Then we explore the CBD and visit some of the famed laneways that now contain art, modern bars and cafes. In the afternoon we will visit the National Gallery of Victoria to view Colonial and Australian Impressionist Collections.
DAY 17 Sunday 11 December, 2022 Burnie, Tasmania
Today we travel to the town of Stanley on the North West coast of Tasmania. On arrival we have a tour of the historic town and take the chairlift up the Nut, the remains of an ancient volcanic plug. Enjoy the fantastic 360 degree views over the town of Stanley, the sea and the spectacular coast line. Enjoy wandering the streets before we return to the ship.

International touring can involve a considerable amount of walking and stair climbing in the places visited and it is important that all tour participants have a level of physical fitness that allows them to take part in this activity without the need of assistance from others.
TOUR OPERATOR:
Travelrite International Pty Ltd (ABN 64 005
817 078) is the tour organiser. Queen Elizabeth is operated by
Cunard Cruises and the cruise arrangements are subject to the
terms and conditions and general information detailed in the
Cunard website www.cunard.com All passengers must complete
the cruise personaliser on the Cunard Cruise website and
complete and sign the Travelrite International booking form.
DEPOSIT AND PAYMENT:
A deposit of $900 per passenger
should be sent with a completed Travelrite International booking
form that lists your requested cabin category. As soon as
the booking is confirmed, (usually within 24 hours), a cruise
confirmation advice will be posted to the client. The confirmation
advice will contain all details. Final payments are due to be paid to
Travelrite International 90 days prior to the commencement of the
fly/cruise. A 1.5% administration fee will be added to payments
made by credit card.

The cruise is based on arrangements which do not
allow for any refunds in respect to sightseeing, accommodation,
meals or other services not utilised after the tour has commenced

TRAVEL INSURANCE:
Adequate travel insurance is recommended
to cover cruise members for the cancellation fees which
could result from events such as illness, accident, death etc.
BAGGAGE:
Passengers qualify for one piece of free baggage
allowance on the tour
MINIMUM TOUR NUMBERS:
The cruise arrangements have
been made on the basis of a minimum number of passengers
travelling. In the event that less than the required number of
passengers have confirmed their booking 90 days from the date
of departure, Travelrite International reserves the right to cancel
the tour, giving a full refund of monies paid, or offer arrangements
to proceed with the tour at a modified fare.
TOUR PARTICIPATION:
Children under 5 years of age are ineligible on coach & cruise tours. Children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Passengers with disabilities are welcome on Travelrite & Cruise Offers tours provided they are accompanied by a companion capable of providing all necessary assistance, and do not require special assistance from Travelrite & Cruise Offers personnel. Travelrite and Cruise Offers reserves the right to refuse to carry anyone if it is felt the individual cannot cope with the requirements of coach & cruise tour travel and who may require services and facilities that Travelrite & Cruise Offers cannot guarantee will be available. You agree to not hold the Travelrite & Cruise Offers responsible for any decision made by any of them or any service provider to refuse to carry you, provide any facilities or accommodation to you or to provide any service to you.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Travelrite International Pty Ltd is the
tour organiser. Travelrite International Pty Ltd, its agents,
officers, affiliates, and/or suppliers of services pursuant to, or
in connection with these fly/cruises, shall act only as agents
in making arrangements for hotels, transportation, including
transportation by ship, restaurants, or any other service and do
not assume any liability whatsoever for any injury, damage, death,
loss, accident or delay to person or property due to an act of
negligence or a default of any hotel, carrier restaurant company
or person rendering any services included in fly/ cruises, or by
act of God. Further, no responsibilities are accepted for any
damage or delay due to sickness, pilferage, labour disputes,
machinery break-down, quarantine, government restraints,
weather, terrorism or other causes beyond their control. No
responsibility is accepted for any additional expense, omission,
delays, re-routing or acts of any government authority. Baggage
is at owners’ risk throughout the fly/cruise. The passage contract
between the carriers concerned, when issued, shall constitute the
sole contract between the carriers and the purchasers of this fly/
cruise and/or the passengers. The right is reserved to withdraw
any fly/cruise and/or make such changes in the fly/cruises as
may be found desirable or necessary for the convenience of
the parties and the proper carrying out of the fly/ cruise. This
contract shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the
State of Victoria, Australia and any legal action must be taken in
the State of Victoria. Attention is also directed to the terms and

DELAYS AND UNFORESEEN EVENTS:
You engage Travelrite to
book this tour on your behalf and you acknowledge that Travelrite
acts as your agent for the purpose of making contracts between
you and the various providers of accommodation, transportation
and other services that comprise the tour. Travelrite may without
reference to you provide or make available to you, or may as
your agent engage any third party to provide or make available
to you, any good or service which Travelrite reasonably believes
is necessary for your benefit to maintain the tour itinerary,
repatriate you or otherwise accommodate, transport or sustain
you in circumstances in which the tour itinerary fails wholly or
partly for any reason. You appoint Travelrite your attorney for
this purpose. You agree to pay Travelrite any cost thereof and
you indemnify Travelrite in respect of any cost it incurs in this
regard. Travelrite advises you to obtain travel insurance generally
including in respect of the risk that any such good or service may
become required.
