We’ve selected the finest recent examples of Contemporary Architecture in New Zealand. Whilst being a hugely diverse country, we have chosen the very best buildings to see, starting in the vibrant City of Auckland then travelling south to Queenstown via an outstanding array of architecture, all remarkably built and primarily most in the past decade. New Zealand is undoubtedly one of the countries that will contribute to the world in the 21st century. A surprising country due to the richness and contrast of its landscapes and the proliferation of beautiful originally crafted buildings. One of the objectives on our tour will be to see the most important work of the early modernists, whose ideas have had significant, influential effects on design in this past century throughout the country. Like all of our tours we follow a path that is also enriched within the extraordinary yet colourful context of buildings, old and new, of people, culture and a variety of cuisines. Our tour winds up in Queenstown, an amazing centre of striking and dramatic landscapes with some exceptional examples of isolated architectural gems.
A professional development opportunity. Limit of 32 participants, so book early.
