Golf Courses and Tee Times:
Travelrite will apply for tee times in July ’08 after checking with golf clubs for their proposed programmes. Clubs do not finalise their own programmes until late in the year but by booking early we fully expect to get all the courses to which we apply. In the event of any course not being available, Travelrite International reserves the right to modify the itinerary and to substitute a course of similar standing.
Maximum Handicaps: Men 24, Ladies 34.
A current certificate must be carried and may have to be produced.
Exchange Rates:
The Tour price is based on Exchange Rates as at June 2008. Travelrite International reserves the right to increase prices if exchange rates weaken. (Travelrite has exercised the right only once in 15 years, implementing only a modest increase). No change will be made within 60 days of departure. IMPORTANT NOTE: Fuel costs are directly dependent on the world price of oil and if airlines introduce fuel-induced surcharges Travelrite International will have no alternative but to follow suit.
Deposits and Payments:
A non-refundable deposit of $750.00 per passenger is payable at the time of booking. The balance is payable within 60 days of departure. Cancellation by you within 60 days of departure will result in the loss of all monies paid. Please note that the Tour is based on arrangements which do NOT allow for refunds for any services which are not utilised, once the Tour has commenced.
Minimum Numbers:
The Tour has been based on a minimum of 12 paying passengers. In the event of less than this minimum having booked 60 days prior to departure, Travelrite reserves the right to cancel the Tour, giving a prompt refund of all monies paid, or to offer arrangements to proceed at a modified cost.
Baggage Allowance:
This is a highly contentious issue especially in relation to golf clubs because regulations and their implementation keep changing. On Singapore Airlines the baggage allowance is 20 kg but you may not be charged for clubs if the total weight of baggage to be stored in the hold does not exceed 25 kg. Beyond that, severe penalties may be incurred. Security for cabin baggage is still tight – each container of liquid, gel or aerosol must be 100 mls or less and must be sealed in a transparent, one litre plastic bag. Domestic airlines will generally charge extra for golf clubs. (Please note that other airlines may have terms and conditions which are different).
Travel Documents:
All travellers must be in possession of a valid passport. A visa is not required for Ireland but please check with us if you are visiting other countries in Europe.

Travel Insurance:
Adequate travel insurance is strongly recommended. You are urged to insure your clubs to the maximum allowable.

Legal Responsibility:
The legal responsibility of Travelrite International Pty Ltd, (Licence No: 30858), in arranging this tour is as follows: Travelrite International acts only as agents for passengers in making arrangements with carriers, hoteliers and others for the Tour. As a result we cannot accept liability for any act or omission whatsoever, whether negligent or otherwise of those carriers, hoteliers or other persons providing services in connection with the tour over whom we have no direct or exclusive control.
We do not accept responsibility for any injury, damage, loss, delay, change of schedule or any other events which are beyond our direct control, such as, but not limited to, war, flood, fire, civil disturbance, terrorism, acts of God, acts of Government or any other authorities, accidents to or failure of machinery or equipment, or industrial action. The passage contract in use by the carriers concerned, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between the transportation companies or firms and the purchasers of these tours and the passengers. Baggage is at own risk throughout the tour. The contract shall be construed in the accordance with the laws of the State of Victoria.
