Touring can involve a considerable amount of walking and stair climbing in the places visited and it is important that all tour participants have a level of physical fitness that allows them to take part in this tour without the need of assistance from others.
Tour Costs:
The tours costs are based on airfare, general transport, accommodation costs and foreign exchange rate at 24 February, 2011. Travelrite reserves the right to alter the costs if any of these factors change, giving any passenger that has booked the right to withdraw with full refund of monies paid or modify arrangements. No alterations to price will be made within 92 days of departure from Australia.
Air taxes: From Sydney/Melbourne as listed in the itinerary. Please contact us for air taxes from different cities. The tour price and air taxes are as 24 February, 2011, if they change due to government and airline charges and currency variations Travelrite International reserves the right to charge additional amounts.
Deposit and Payment:
A deposit of $500 per passenger should be sent with a completed Travelrite International booking form that lists your requested cabin category. As soon as the booking is confirmed, (usually within 24 hours), a cruise confirmation advice will be posted to the client. The client must confirm the booking by paying a fly/cruise deposit equal to 25 percent of the fly/cruise fare within ten days of the booking being confirmed. The confirmation advice will contain all details. The passenger must also complete and return a Silverseas reservation form to Travelrite International. Fifty per cent of the package fare is due to be paid to Travelrite International by July 20, 2011, seventy five percent is due to be paid by October 18, 2011 and final payment by November 16, 2011. A 1 per cent administration fee will be added to payments by Visa or Mastercard and 3 per cent for payment by AMEX or Diners.

Visas:
Visas will be required for Argentina and Brazil. Please contact Travelrite International for full details.
Refunds:
The cruise is based on arrangements which do not allow for any refunds in respect to sightseeing, accommodation, meals or other services not utilised after the tour has commenced.
Travel Documents:
All passengers will require a valid passport. If not an Australian passport holder, check with Travelrite International for visa requirements.
Travel Insurance:
Adequate travel insurance is highly recommended to cover cruise members for the consequences of unforeseen events during the cruise and for cancellation fees which could result from such events, such as illness, accident, death etc.
Baggage:
Passengers qualify for a 20kg free baggage allowance on flights to join and return from the cruise.
Minimum Tour Numbers:
The tour has been based on a minimum number of passengers having booked 94 days prior to departure. Travelrite reserves the right to proceed with a modified tour at a modified cost. Travelrite reserves the right to change advertised entrances if necessary for the smooth operation of the tour.

Neither Nationwide News Pty Ltd nor any of its subsidiaries, or any of its newspapers have any involvement in the tour, and have no liability of any kind to any person in relation to the tour. Travelrite International acts only as an agent in the making of arrangements with carriers, hoteliers and others for the tour. As a result we cannot accept liability for any act or omission whatsoever, whether negligent or otherwise of those carriers, hoteliers or other persons providing services in connection with the tour over whom we have no direct or exclusive control. We do not accept responsibility for any injury, damage, loss, delay, change of schedule or any other events which are beyond our direct control, such as, but not limited to, war, terrorism, flood, fire, civil disturbance, acts of god, acts of Government, or any other authorities, accidents to or failure of machinery or equipment, or industrial action. The passage contract in use by the carriers concerned, shall constitute the sole contract between the transportation companies or firms and the purchasers of these tours and the passengers. Baggage is at own risk throughout the tour. The contract shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Victoria. Your Expedition Leader and Captain will work together to ensure opportunities for adventure and exploration are the best possible, taking into account the prevailing weather, wildlife activities and ice conditions.
