Prince Albert II, named in 2008 after the Prince of Monaco, has suites accommodating 132 guests. Sandra and Neville Walliss, managing directors and founders of Travelrite International Tours will lead this tour to the Antarctic and South America. Neville worked for ICI in many management positions including two postings to England. Sandra was a teacher at secondary schools and TAFE Colleges. After returning to Australia in 1981, Neville and Sandra investigated starting their own business and decided on travel in 1984. Since 1984 they have managed approximately seventy two land and sea based tours. |

Visit the ancient town of Pisac and see its colourful Indian market and the great Inca fortress of Ollantaytambo, an elegant and intricate granite complex of temples, baths and impressive military installations. A sightseeing tour of the historic city of Cusco, the ancient capital of the Incas.
You will see the enormous monolith blocks of stone out of which the city has been constructed. Visit the centre of the city, the Plaza de Armas, known in Inca times as Huancaypata once the centre of the empire. Visit the cathedral that was built on the palace of Inca Viracocha and the Santo Domingo Church that was once the Temple of the Sun. It was the most important and magnificent religious complex under the Incas. The walls, which mainly still exist, were covered with gold. See the ancient monolithic fortress of Sacasayhuaman, where one of the last battles between the Incas and Spanish took place.
The highlight is a visit to the famed lost city of Machu Picchu by train. Discovered by the archeologist Hiram Bingham in 1911, this spectacular ancient city is one of the wonders of the world. See the Temple of the Three Windows, the Sacred Plaza and the astronomical observatory.
