

Keith McGowan
Keith McGowan was born in Melbourne, starting
his first job in radio in 1957, at 3UZ. In 1990 he
joined Melbourne radio station 3AW, hosting the
overnight program, Overnighters. Keith went on to
develop a cult following in Melbourne through his
radio show. After having hosted the Overnighters
program on 3AW for a staggering 21 years,
Keith hosted his final program on 22 July 2011.
He has published six books and had a top ten hit
in Australia with a narrative piece called A Little
Boy’s Christmas Prayer. Keith is looking forward to
sharing his passion for music and the Australian
Outback with you.
